Intouro Highlights. Versatile in operation, simply good value: the Intouro has been known and valued for years in Central and Eastern Europe and in France. Now the profitable raisedfloor interurban regular service bus is conquering the roads throughout Europe. A flexible all-rounder. Public service or interurban bus? this is not a question for the Intouro. With its many usage options, the flexible all-rounder is also great for works and school bus services. Not without reason has it proved itself in many countries since its market launch in 2007 with over 3,500 units sold. So that you can configure it ideally to your requirements, the two-axle vehicle is available in two length variants at 12.14 m and 12.98 m for up to 55 and 59 passengers respectively and available with two economic, environmentally friendly Euro V or EEV engines. Ideal prerequisites for a new performer in your fleet. A true performer. The Intouro not only pays for itself several times over, it also conserves your budget. Beside an outstanding price-performance ratio, this is taken care of by the low life-cycle costs. High-quality, standardised components out of the modular system for Mercedes-Benz interurban buses guarantee short downtimes, high availability, a long service life proven in the field, along with rapid and lasting profitability. In every situation: consistent cost-effectiveness. The increasingly hard competition in local public transport requires you to manage your resources efficiently. The Intouro supports you through its consistent costeffectiveness. A clear winner. Thanks to Mercedes-Benz BlueTec diesel technology, the Intouro not only impresses with its powerful performance, but also pays for itself every single day due to its low fuel consumption. At 210 kw (286 bhp) they are frugal and rapid on the road. The environment also benefits from the low emissions of the amazingly powerful OM 926 LA engine. Power is transmitted by the six-speed manual MB GO 110 transmission, of which the mechanical design is optimised for coach operations. A second variant is available in the form of the high-capacity OM 457 hla engine at 220 kw (299 bhp) and the ZF EcoLife automatic transmission. Whichever you choose, you can be sure of consistent cost-effectiveness and comfortable driving characteristics. A robust workhorse. Created for high mileage on diverse routes, the Intouro has already been successfully tried and tested in hard everyday service over many years. Now you can also benefit from its strengths. For beside a low fuel consumption, you can also rely on extended maintenance intervals, reasonable maintenance costs and short downtimes. The centrally located engine and other important units are easily accessible, which makes maintenance work easier: for example, the front end flap, which can be swung fully down. Moreover, the plastic parts at the front and rear can be individually exchanged if damaged. This means your Intouro is soon back on the road and in service for you and your company. 5

The Star driving culture throughout. Can consistent cost-effectiveness be combined with maximum safety and the greatest possible comfort? See for yourself: the Intouro makes it possible. A safe companion. Safety is found as standard onboard every bus from Mercedes-Benz. In the case of the Intouro, this means an anti-lock braking system (ABS) and engine-controlled acceleration slip regulation (ASR), available as an option. The Intouro is also equipped all-round as standard with a disc brake system. To reduce servicing and maintenance costs, the disc brakes are identical on all axles. Optionally, the Intouro can also be supplied with a hydrodynamic Voith retarder for the manual transmission, offering wear-free relief for the service brake. With these features, the driver has the vehicle safely under control in every situation. As a result pas- sengers are well looked after thanks to the stable construction of the vehicle, and with good reason: the Intouro incorporates active and passive safety features throughout. A real advertisement. With its attractive design and high level of comfort, the Intouro immediately wins everybody s affection. Inviting outward swinging doors and the optional electronic level control (ENR) make boarding the vehicle easy for your passengers. With an integrated lift at entrance 2, even people with limited mobility can board without any problem. 6

Naturally, the driver also sits totally relaxed in his ergonomically designed workstation with a well-thought-out stowage concept. From here the driver can comfortably reach all the controls and has an optimal view of the instruments. In addition, the driver s area heating and an optionally available roof-mounted air conditioner ensure that the driver can work with full concentration whatever the weather. 7
