SPECIFICATIONS 640 MOBILE SCALPING SCREEN General The is a heavy duty scalping screen designed to work in tandem with our Fintec 1107 Primary Jaw Crusher or as a stand alone 3 way split screener. The 640 is constructed for easy mobility and transportation. All conveyors are hydraulically foldable and walkways are fixed, for quick transport and set up time on site. All conveyor drums are fitted with taperlock shafts and are driven by hydraulic motors. The 640 uses a 74kw (99Hp) engine to power the hydraulics throughout the machine. The design and manufacture of the complies with all the directives required for CE marking. The diesel engine complies with EO emission Regulation 97/68/Ecstep II. Description The screen can be fed by loading shovel, excavator or crusher. The hardox steel apron feeder provides a solution to aggressive and previously impossible applications. The apron feeder feeds directly on to the variable angle screenbox for maximum screening efficiency. There are a multitude of options available for the screening media on both the top and bottom decks of the screenbox, all of which are available with varying apertures. Screen meshes for the top deck of the 640 are all interchangeable with the Fintec 540. All conveyors are fitted with heavy duty impact bars in feed boots and impact zones to prolong belt life.

Transfer Conveyor - 1200mm wide (47 ) x 5850mm long (10 8 ), 3-ply conveyor belt. This conveyor is driven by a 500cc hydraulic motor. All the conveyors have replaceable skirting and feedboot rubber. They are all fitted with internal v-scrappers to protect the tail drums. The transfer and side (fines) conveyor are fitted with rosta tensioned belt scrappers. While the oversize and side (midsize) conveyors are kept clean with octagon beater rollers. Hopper - The feeder hopper has a nominal volume of 5m 3 (6.6 yd 3 ) and has foldable wing plates for transportation purposes. Screenbox - Top Deck 3650mm x 1500mm (12 x 5 ). Available with Hardox Bofar deck, tines, punched plate and mesh. Bottom deck 3353mm x 1500mm (11 x 5 ). Available with cascade fingers and mesh. 2 bearing, high amplitude screens. The complete box is bolted together to eliminate any unnecessary heat stress due to welding. The screen has a variable screening angle ranging from 12º to 20º, and quick release wedge tensioning system along the entire length of the top deck. The screenbox is flanked by a fixed access walkway (accessible from both sides of the machine) for maintenance and mesh changes. For ease of access to the bottom deck, the screenbox can be raised into a horizontal maintenance position.
Powerunit A Caterpillar 3054C turbo charged 4-cylinder diesel engine powerpack developing 74 kw (99Hp) at 2200 r.p.m. Fuel tank volume is 400 litres (105 USA Gallons) and fuel consumption is approximately 18L /hr at 75% continuous load. The engine meets EU emissions regulation 97/68/EC. Hydraulics A 36cc/36cc/36cc triple pump bolts directly onto the engine flywheel. The engine also has a 23cc/23cc tandem pump fitted to a side P.T.O. The hydraulic tank capacity is 700 litres. Tracks The crawler tracks have a length of 2920mm (9 5 ) and track shoe width of 500mm (20 ) the normal ground pressure is 87 kpa with a travelling speed of 1.0 km/h.
