COMPANY INTRODUCTION Kung ong Batteries Industrial Co., td., an expert manufacturer of lead acid batteries, established sce 10 that owns a bonded factory and is the first bonded factory and publicly traded lead acid battery manufacture on the Taiwan Stock Exchange. In order to diversify our production and expand our market share, we moved our ternational manufacturg division to Vietnam ong An 1. e were the first % owned foreign-funded enterprise to establish a battery factory Vietnam. In 07, we fished construction on our nd plant Duc oa which occupies 0,000 square meters and contues to expand as we are Phase- production construction now. e have ISO001, ISO001, OSAS1 and T000 certificate. ith factories and our rich experience, we can be your best partner of your energy solutions. Besides R&D novation, strict controls over the production procedures are also required for quality assurance. e set up spection stations every part of the manufacturg process, and established strict spection forms for each production procedure to assure the high quality of each product. Our quality policy has won clients trust. Meanwhile, we have been approved and used by several global companies the UPS, Security Alarm, heelchair, and Medical dustries. Many of our customers are the leaders their dustry. Each of our sealed lead acid batteries has received U Certification approval. In addition, there are many items that have gone through the very strict and long German VdS certification testg process. Also our VRA batteries are compatible with global standards such as JIS C70/704, IEC 10-1, IEC 0-1, etc. 0
ONG POER YOUR IFE Today, we are an environment, where the carbon dioxide emissions are beg capped by International organizations. Therefore, we play an important role to make more effective, cost-savg, and safe for the environment energy. hile pursug excellence, we also strive to improve employee health, safety and welfare. e provide employees with comprehensive trags and a superior work environment as well as encouragg employees to engage lifetime learng to ga new knowledge and skills. Our prospects are to provide clean energy for global consumers response to the full-blown awareness of social and environmental responsibilities. e will be dynamic and careful protectg the environment as well as facilitatg improvement technology, lettg Taiwan be proud of its dustry as well of its beautiful scenery and its people! 04

CARGING METOD APPICATION STANDBY USE CYCE USE Chargg method Constant voltage Settg voltage (v/cell)( C) Temperature factor Max. charge current (CA).~.0 -.0mV/ C/cell 0..40~.0 -.0mV/ C/cell 0. Charge Time Discharge % Discharge 0% 4h h 1h 10h Temperature ( C) -1 C ~ 40 C igh performance and long service life of ONG battery depend upon correct chargg. Improper chargg modes or adequate chargg equipment result decreased battery life and/or unsatisfactory performance. Any of the conventional chargg techniques may be used, but to obta maximum service life and capacity, along with acceptable recharge time, constant current/constant voltage chargg is recoended. A charge quantity of 10-0% of the previous discharged quantity is needed for fully chargg the battery. The chargg voltage of battery decreases with creasg temperature and creases with decreasg temperature. At a temperature below C(41 F) or above C( F), the temperature compensation for chargg voltage is necessary. At ambient temperature the compensation will not be necessary. Overchargg Should be avoided : As a result of too high a charge voltage. excessive current will flow after reachg full charge, causg decomposition of water the electrolyte and, hence, premature agg. Underchargg Should also be avoided : If too low a charge voltage is applied, the charger current output will essentially stop before the battery is fully charged. This allows some of the lead sulfate to rema on the plates which will eventually reduce capacity. RECOMMENDED RECARGING INTERVA & METOD STORAGE TEMPERATURE Below C( F) C-0 C( F- F) above 0 C( F)(avoid this storage condition) RECARGE INTERVA & METOD months, charge for 1 hrs at.4v/cell months, charge T OVER for 1 hrs at EIGT.4V/cell 1 months, charge for 1 hrs at.4v/cell ASSEMBY ANDING INSTRUCTION Do not short the termals. Do not place the battery near or fires. Do not use the battery a contaer or bag without proper ventilation. Operate at a temperature between 1 C to 0 C. But for cycle use, the C to C temperature range is recoended. To properly store the battery, remove battery from equipment or charge and store a dry and cool place. Iediately recharge after dischargg. If sulfuric acid from the battery is spilled on sk or clothg, wash iediately with water. If acid comes contact with eyes, flush with large amounts of water and iediately see a doctor. To obta maximum life, the ripple current at the r.m.s current of the charger should be regulated to less than 0.1 C(A). Avoid mixed use of batteries. Different capacities, histories, or manufacturers of batteries may cause damage to the batteries or other equipment s. 10
