Russia & CIS Catalyst Technology Conference 9-10 APRIL 2018, MOSCOW 13th Bottom of the Barrel Technology Conference & Exhibition 10-11 APRIL 2018, MOSCOW ORGANISED BY SPEAKERS EUROTECHCAT EPAC-Servece SPONSORS EUROTECHCAT www.europetro.com/events +7 495 517 77 09 moscow@europetro.com

Russia & CIS Catalyst Technology Conference 9-10 APRIL 2018, MOSCOW POSITIVE IMPRESSION AS ALWAYS. SPEAKERS & TOPICS ARE CHOSEN CAREFULLY & PROFESSIONALLY, PRESENTATIONS ARE OF THE BEST QUALITY, AND SESSIONS ARE WELL FORMED. MANY THANKS TO THE ORGANISERS. GAZPROM NEFT WELCOME TO RU-CAT 2018 Catalytic processes are the heart of all Refineries and Petrochemical Complexes. With the recent drive for increased integration between refineries and petrochemical complexes, the number of units requiring the use of modern catalysts has increased significantly. The catalyst industry is booming the Global Catalyst market is forecasted to reach 33 Billion USD per year by 2018. Russia, which is highly dependent on the import of catalysts for advanced processing, provides an interesting market, full of opportunities. Developments and innovations in catalysts are helping to create a brighter future for the industry. When selecting their catalysts customers are looking for longer catalyst cycle lengths, increased selectivity, optimised activation, stable and reliable operation, ease of regeneration options, lower energy consumption, efficiency under certain conditions (i.e. low temperatures, high pressure, water, sulphur and metal content), simpler process scheme and feedstock processing flexibility. In today's market special focus should also be given to the issues of logistics for Catalyst Regeneration; insitu, ex-situ, etc. It is also important to understand that there is no universal approach each configuration is different - the viability of catalytic processes fully relies on the specific client requirements and customising existing schemes to fit the project framework.

13th Bottom of the Barrel Technology Conference & Exhibition 10-11 APRIL 2018, MOSCOW A VERY USEFUL EVENT. A REVIEW OF THE ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF EXISTING TECHNOLOGIES FOR RESID PROCESSING WAS DONE. TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THE NECESSITY TO IMPROVE THE EFFICIENCY OF FEEDSTOCK PROCESSING, THE CONFERENCES PRESENTATIONS WILL HELP TO MAKE DECISIONS ON THE REFINERY DEVELOPMENT SCENARIOS. FORTEINVEST WELCOME TO RUSSIA & CIS BBTC 2018 Residue upgrading is increasingly seen as a key solution to the pressing challenge of meeting growing market demand for cleaner fuels, the gradual move to processing heavier feedstock and the decreasing demand for heavy oil. The challenge is simple to increase the overall conversion of the residues of all crudes into the most valuable distillates. It is necessary to consider that today the bunker fuel market is being swept by important changes these changes will re-shape the market and will affect bunker operations, commercial shipping and global refining. In recent years we have seen refinery complexity increase. A key step in the process is to be able to identify the Residue Upgrading configuration that best fits a particular refinery and answers a number of important questions based on factors specific to each refiner and project, including return on investment, the specific product slate desired, refinery location, refinery configuration, target markets, feed and product pricing and type of crudes available, and the estimated budget available for modernisation. The criteria to select one of the upgrading options depends on several factors which must be analysed in detail. Ultimately what is required are residue conversion solutions that use proven technologies to maximise conversion to distillates, minimise any potential project risks and facilitate project financing with sound economics. When developing the project it is necessary to evaluate all options to fit the client s specific requirements, evaluate all risks, select the best option for the particular situation, and then implement the project using the Project Implementation strategy that will ensure on time delivery, meeting all quality requirements and within the initial budget.
