The MagForce+ Family 390+ 320+ 350+ MADE IN THE USA MEA 11-95-E Locknetics new MagForce Plus generation of electromagnetic locks is the evolution of the industry leading 390 Series. The MagForce Plus family consists of the 390+ with 1650 lbs of holding force, the 350+ with 1200 lbs of holding force, and the 320+ with 700 lbs of holding force. Common features, installation, appearance, and circuit boards make selling, installing, and maintaining the MagForce Plus family easy. MagForce+ Features (all products) Aesthetically Matching Products Provide the MagForce Plus product family with a consistent look, meaning that architects and end users can have aesthetic consistency throughout buildings and facilities. Armature Housing Holds the armature in place, eliminating the noise and sagging known with armatures, quieting the operation and increasing the overall reliability of the product. The armature housing also provides an aesthetically pleasing look over traditional armature mountings, blending into the surrounding environment more easily. Finally, the armature housing holds the magnets for the DSM option without having to mount an additional plate to the armature, ensuring quicker, more reliable installations. Consistent Mounting Bracket Style Means every product in the family mounts the same way, even with top jamb (inswing) applications, ensuring quicker, more reliable installations, less installation problems, and greater end user satisfaction. Modular, Universal Circuit Boards 390+ 350+ 320+ For MBS, DSM, ATD, ATS, and MBS/L1 mean consistent wiring throughout the line and quicker installations. MagForce+ Options Adjustable Time Delay (ATD) Controls the relock time of the magnet from 1-30 seconds, ensuring that each opening can be managed to allow flexibility with regards to the population of people who will use the opening. Anti-Tamper Switch (ATS) Provides an indication that the cover of the magnet is securely fastened to the lock and therefore the on-board circuitry is secure. Custom Length Housings (CLH) and Variable Full-Length Housings (VLH) Are available to cover the entire width or height of a door to provide a clean architectural look and provide additional protection from vandalism. Door Status Monitor (DSM) Indicates that the door is open or closed. This can be monitored remotely to provide assurance that the door is closed and therefore properly latched. Herculite Door Bracket (HDB) Attaches to the top of either a 1/2 or 3/4 Herculite (glass) door to allow mounting of the armature without having to drill through the door, easing installation time, frustration, and cost. Magnetic Bond Sensor (MBS) (MBS/L1) Indicates that proper bond exists between the magnet and the armature and that the door is locked. This can be monitored remotely to provide assurance that the opening is secure. The L1 option provides an LED for visual assurance in the local area. Powermiser (PWM) (390+ and 392+ Only) Lowers the power requirement to.16 amps @ 12VDC only, allowing a greater number of magnets to be managed by a single power supply. Holding force of a 390+ Series with PWM is 1200 pounds. Rectifier (RCP) Allows an AC power source to power a DC configured lock, protecting the lock and eliminating the need to source additional power. Signal Module Time Delay (SMTD) Provides an audible and visual indication that the lock is unsecured for those in the immediate area. Top Jamb Mounting Bracket with No Exposed Screws Provides a cleaner architectural look while eliminating any vulnerability created by exposed mounting hardware, thereby increasing safety and reliability. Additionally, the top jamb bracket has slide-in architectural finish plates to match the architectural finishes within a building s decor. MagForce+ Finishes Slide-in Architectural Finish Plates Allow the end user or architect to change or design the exterior look of the magnet to match other interior decorating cost effectively. Its modular design employs a standardized circuit board with easyto-install connectors, adjustable mounting brackets, integrated mounting screws, and slide-in architectural finish plates. A new armature housing holds the armature in place, eliminating the noise and sagging known with armatures, increasing the overall reliability of the product. The armature housing also provides an aesthetically pleasing look over traditional armature mountings, blending into the surrounding environment more easily. Finally the armature housing holds the magnets for the DSM option without having to mount an additional plate to the armature, ensuring quicker, more reliable installations. Applications. The 390+ is available for single, inswinging or outswinging, hollow metal, aluminum, and wood doors and frames and glass doors. The 392+ is available for pairs of hollow metal, aluminum, and wood doors and frames and glass doors without a mullion. The 391+ with split armature is used with pairs of hollow metal, aluminum, and wood doors and frames without a mullion. A 12V Powermiser (PWM) option with 1200 pounds of holding force is also available for limited power applications. The 350+ design features a narrow 2-1/8 projection from the frame header. A new armature housing holds the armature in place, eliminating the noise and sagging known with armatures, increasing the overall reliability of the product. The armature housing also provides an aesthetically pleasing look over traditional armature mountings, blending into the surrounding environment more easily. Standard housing finish is 628 satin aluminum. All non-standard finish plates come with a 335 satin black anodized housing. Special Finish (SF) options include the housing and all finished metal surfaces in the architectural finish of choice. Armature Housing Finishes Are designed to aesthetically enhance the look of the mounted armature. Standard finish is off-white Lexan. When non-standard or SF architectural finishes are selected, the armature housing is black Lexan. Option Finishes Are available on Top Jamb (TJ) brackets, Herculite Door Brackets (HDB), Variable Full-Length Housings (VLH) and Custom Length Housings (CLH). When a non-standard finish plate is selected, the TJ bracket and HDB come with a 335 satin black anodized finish. Angle Brackets and Filler Plates Angle brackets and filler plates are used to extend a frame header to allow the mounting bracket and magnet to be securely fastened to the frame (see illustrations), ensuring safe installations and proper magnet operation. Filler plates are available in eight standard sizes and are ordered by configuration number. Angle brackets are available in five standard sizes and are ordered by configuration number. Standard filler plates and angle brackets are factory cut to the proper length. When ordering, specify model, standard configuration needed, and F for Filler plate or A for Angle bracket.
