Getting cars moving. Not a kilometre on the clock and already purring along. Whether cars have to be transported in open or closed bodies, MAN has the right solution. The innovative Euro 6 trucks from the TGX and TGS ranges blend powerful dynamics with reduced consumption and increased efficiency with high reliability. The vehicles are extremely body-friendly and designed for daily use. The flat cab roof has a slope of 16 degrees and is lowered by 190 mm. To reduce the cab height there are front air springs set 22 mm lower down. If a bit more is required, the liftable leading axle can cater for an additional 4.5 tonnes of payload. Efficiency with full power. Pulling together: the driveline with a powerful six-cylinder engine and easy-to-use MAN TipMatic gearbox puts high-level efficiency on the road. The highly efficient six-cylinder power units with ratings from 235 kw (320 hp) to 353 kw (480 hp) impress with their perfect performance even at low engine speeds. In order to achieve the extremely low Euro 6 values MAN employs key technologies such as common-rail injection, exhaust-gas recirculation (EGR), SCRT filters and diesel particulate filters (DPF/CRF). The result? MAN's Euro 6 engines set new standards with regard to consumption of both fuel and AdBlue. When you need to move mountains, but also want to protect the environment, MAN engines are the perfect partner. MAN TipMatic with EasyStart. Gear-changing is really simple with the automated MAN TipMatic, as its easy-to-use 12-speed gearbox can be operated in automatic mode as well as manually by actuating a stalk switch. The integrated hill start function EasyStart simplifies starting on inclines. When the brake pedal is released the brake pressure is maintained for a few seconds so that the driver can then move his foot to the accelerator and thus drive away smoothly, with reduced wear on the clutch and without rolling backwards. Safety today is MAN safety. In the past guardian angels had wings. Today they need bits and bytes. MAN has integrated the latest electronic assistance systems for your safety. Compensatory braking when tractor oversteers. Electronic Stability Program (ESP). ESP protects against unexpected surprises. Sensors constantly monitor the vehicle dynamics. If there is a risk of imminent skidding or tipping over, individual wheels are braked accordingly and, where necessary, the engine torque is reduced. ESP stabilises the vehicle and keeps it on track. Lane Guard System (LGS). The electronic lane guard system constantly monitors the vehicle's position in the lane. If the driver leaves the pre-determined lane without activating the indicator, an acoustic signal warns him. Depending on the direction in which the driver has strayed, the loudspeaker on the left- or right-hand side emits a rattling noise which the driver intuitively understands correctly. LGS increases the driver's awareness for remaining in lane and thus prevents certain hazardous situations. Compensatory braking when tractor understeers Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) This automatic distance control system evaluates the distance to the vehicle ahead and the differential speed and sets a safe driving distance via electronic intervention in the accelerator and/or brake pedal. ACC can be used at road speeds from 25 km/h upwards and makes for more relaxed driving. Adaptive cruise control ACC 6 7

With active roll stabilisation the shock absorbers are regulated automatically through CDC (Continuous Damping Control). Addition of rolling and pitching movements is prevented and higher driving safety is ensured. For vehicles with a high centre of gravity there is high-load roll stabilisation with an additional X control arm. MAN BrakeMatic brake system with ABS and ASR. The most important distance is the braking distance. To prevent any unexpected surprises, MAN BrakeMatic with electronic brake system EBS, including ABS and ASR, ensures shorter braking distances. Coupling force control for optimum matching of the trailer or semitrailer brakes results in perfect coordination of the entire road train, shorter braking distances, harmonisation of wear and tear on the brake pads throughout the vehicle combination and extremely long pad lives. Vehicle behaviour without CDC. Brake assistant. The brake assistant registers the speed at which the brake pedal is pressed and the pressure applied to it. It then increases the brake pressure up to full brake power. It recognises emergency braking when it is initiated and immediately builds up the highest possible brake pressure. 8 9
