A compact master.
SCORPION 6030 CP Compact and powerful the new addition to the SCORPION range. With the introduction of the new SCORPION 6030 CP, CLAAS brings you all the advantages of the tried-andtested SCORPION range in an all-new and compact design. Heavyweight performance in a compact frame thanks to its superb manoeuvrability and compact dimensions, this machine can tap its full potential in even the tightest of spaces. With a lifting height of 6 metres and a lifting capacity of 3 tonnes, the 6030 CP stands for unrivalled productivity, in every application. These characteristics make the 6030 CP the ideal choice for operations in and around the farmyard and in buildings. Throughout the development process, CLAAS consistently placed great emphasis on adapting the 6030 CP to cope effectively with the difficult conditions encountered in day-to-day farming operations a move motivated by the company s deep understanding of the segment.
SCORPION telehandlers the farmer s choice. These days, many farms and agricultural businesses are home to telehandlers. With their compact design, superb manoeuvrability and power, these machines represent more than just an alternative to traditional farm tractors with front loader. With a telescopic boom, they also offer large farms and contractors the most efficient solution available today for the vast majority of internal materials handling and transport tasks. To provide this segment with a viable and hard-hitting alternative, CLAAS has brought to market a range of telehandlers under the SCORPION brand that fully meets the stringent demands of modern farming, thanks to an innovative drive concept. With its 90 and 70 series models, CLAAS supplies telehandlers with lifting heights of 9 and 7 metres, respectively.
Tall drivers will also appreciate the exceptional standard of comfort delivered by the cab s generous proportions. The end-to-end front windscreen preserves a full and unobstructed view of the carriage, whatever its position. The door is divided into two sections, enabling the upper section to be fixed in an open position. The SCORPION s efficient air-conditioning system creates a pleasant working environment in the cab, particularly useful when working in dusty conditions, such as grain stores and mucking out poultry sheds. The robust materials used for the cab fixtures are low-maintenance and highly resistant to dust and dirt. At home on every farm. Joystick for operating all boom functions, auxiliary control circuit, and for changing the direction of travel 120-litre fuel tank Low-pivot-point boom giving with 6-m lifting height and 3-t lifting capacity Tipping cylinders with end-of-travel damping Hydraulic parallel guidance, wear-resistant and reliable Robust implement carrier with 151 tip-out angle All the operating elements in the cab are grouped by function, and are colour-coded and back-lit. This guarantees safe and easy operation at all times, even at night or in poorly lit buildings. The joystick is used to control all movements of the boom, to operate the auxiliary control circuit and to change the direction of travel, including putting the drive in neutral. This means the left hand can remain firmly on the steering wheel during operation, while the right hand operates the joystick. The operating elements on the joystick are similarly back-lit. The SCORPION 6030 CP s high-torque, fourcylinder Deutz engines deliver optimum propulsion, with a choice of 80 hp or 100 hp. The engine arrangement ensures easy access to all maintenance points. Thanks to the SCS reverse fan and particle extraction on the air filter, the radiator can be cleaned at the push of a button directly from the comfort of the cab. This ensures optimum performance in even the most challenging conditions, for example when mucking out dusty cramped sheds. Two engine sizes: 80 hp and 100 hp with SCS reverse fan and particle extraction by the air filter Rock-solid stability, thanks to an optimum centre of gravity with all heavy items mounted low down and excellent weight distribution Hydraulics and drive train: Hydraulics are supplied via an 85-l/min fixed displacement pump or a 135-l/min variable displacement pump. Fitted with infinitely variable transmissions as standard you choose between hydrostatic or VARIPOWER drive. The low-pivot boom ensures an outstanding all-round view, and a low centre of gravity and excellent weight distribution ensure high stability. In the compact 6030 CP too, the boom is integrated almost centrally in the vehicle, preserving the even distribution of forces acting on the main frame. In terms of stability and robustness, the SCORPION 6030 CP s implement carrier is unique in this performance class. It is also entirely compatible with the implement carriers of larger telehandlers, facilitating the easy coupling of any potential front-mounted implement. In the basic version, a hydrostatic drive transfers power to all four wheels. The renowned VARIPOWER transmission is also available for the 6030 CP, which together with the 135-l/min variable displacement pump represents leading performance in its class. The required cool air is drawn into the engine compartment through the top and side of the bonnet. The air is then channelled through the radiators, from where it passes over the engine, finally exiting the vehicle at the rear of the bonnet by the exhaust, thus avoiding stirring up any additional dust and dirt. This technology enables you to work continuously at full output while remaining assured of absolute machine reliability, particularly in enclosed buildings and shed environments. 1 Values apply for TIER 3 2 DIN 51 601, at least 45 Cetane 3 DIN 51 521 T3 4 Measured with 405/70-20 14PR MPT-01 tyres 5 Without mounted implement, with operator and full diesel tank
