All licence categories and technical specifications are compatible with the applicable EU requirements. 1. 2. Swiss driving authorisation Swiss driving authorisation complies with the 2nd EU Directive on Driving Licences (91/439/EC, 29 July 1991). Exceptions: Category A 35kW complies with the 3rd EU Directive on Driving Licences (2006/126/EC, 20 December 2006). F, G and M are special national categories. 4. Authenticity characteristics The symbol CH (for Switzerland) and the Swiss cross (hologram) can be made visible by changing the angle of light incidence. Microprint text: displayed as a line through reproduction using standard methods. The traffic light icon changes colour when the angle of light incidence is changed. Pearlescent sheen: when turned to the light, changes to colours that are not reproducible. Code for card blank: this code is unique and is only issued once. 5/5
