MONITORS DESCRIPTION Chemguard gear driven monitors are constructed of corrosion resistant brass. These units are of rugged construction making them ideally suited for harsh environments such as marine docks, process areas and offshore installations. They are operated in both the horizontal and vertical planes by gear driven These Chemguard gear driven monitors are available in five different versions. Grease fitting for lubrication Stainless steel ball bearing at all rotation joints Monitor remains in place when gear is stopped or lock is engaged ORDERING INFORMATION Model with friction-loss reducing inner vanes. The unit is capable of 360 rotation and is available with standard and flows up to 1,250 gpm (4,737 lpm) @ 100 psi (7.0 bar) can be expected. CM-2000H-4 Industrial High-Capacity with friction-loss reducing inner vanes. The unit is capable of 360 MNST threaded outlet is standard and flows up to 2,000 gpm (7580 lpm) @ 100 psi (7.0 bar) can be expected. The "RATTLER" is a low profile brass monitor with a full 3" waterway. This unit is ideal for marine, offshore or potentially corrosive atmospheres. Capable of flows up to 1250 gpm, it is easily adjustable in the horizontal plane and then locked in position by a locking mechanism. The vertical travel is controlled by adjustable hand wheel with worm gear drive. MONITORS DESCRIPTION available from Chemguard are all brass construction and inherently corrosion resistant. Vanes are provided at each elbow to reduce friction loss, thereby improving range of the stream. These monitors can be used with either water or foam solutions. Positive locking of the vertical travel is provided with a brake band. Horizontal rotation is 360, while vertical travel is 150. Two models are provided, one with a full (100mm) waterway. Flows up to 1,250 gpm (4,370 lpm) with minimum friction loss 360 rotation with locks for rotation and elevation Optional inlet flanges. Flows of up to 2,000 gpm (7,570) with minimum friction loss Grease fitting at each swivel joint Stainless steel ball bearings at each swivel joint 360 rotation with positive locks for rotation and elevation Grease fittings at each swivel joint ORDERING INFORMATION MODEL Stainless steel ball bearings at each swivel joint CM-1250B-3S CM-1250B-4S CM-2000B ANSI 3" 150 lb. IN-LINE EDUCTORS DESCRIPTION Chemguard In-Line Eductors provide an inexpensive method of metering foam concentrate into a water stream. Each eductor consists of body, venturi throat and metering valve. All components are manufactured in corrosion resistant brass. The inlet thread into the eductor is 1.5" female NST or NPSH and the outlet is 1.5" male NST or NPSH. All internal machined parts of the Chemguard Eductor are machined smooth to ensure minimum friction loss. FEATURES Variable metering valve.5%, 1%, 3% or 6% Pressure loss through the Chemguard Eductor is approximately 35% of the inlet pressure Metering valve supplied with an 8' length Pick-up hose assembly Suitable for use with Chemguard AFFF, AR- AFFF, Class A or Fluoroprotein type foam concentrates OPERATING PROCEDURES Normal inlet operating pressure at eductor is 200 psi; however, the eductor can be used at lower inlet pressures with a corresponding reduction in flow rates.
