PARABOLIC LED REFLECTOR MODULES The LED light engine features ten parabolic LED reflector modules. REFLECTOR VENTING Upper reflector is vented above the LED light engine for thermal management of the LED array. REFLECTOR RETENTION Reflector/LED light engine assembly is easily installed and retained by a single, tamper-resistant screw. Tool included. LED HEAT SINK Although LEDs generally operate cooler than conventional light sources, the heat they produce can dramatically affect their life if not properly vented. Prescolite LED lighting fixtures feature highly engineered die cast aluminum heat sinks mounted directly to the top of the LED light engines to efficiently dissipate heat. Thermal management High efficiency heat sink Designed to dissipate heat on three sides, this module level heat sink facilitates heat transfer away from the LEDs to external heat sink for natural convection. The thermal management system keeps the module well within thermal specifications to ensure maximum lumen output and long life. The thermal feedback loop capability of LiteFrame LED offers inherent protection for the electrical components of the driver and LED module. When ambient temperatures rise above limits (approximately 50º C) that might jeopardize the integrity of these components, the unit will dim down to levels to reduce its operating heat. This ensures the 50,000 hour life of the product at 40º C and allows for the 5 year warranty of the product. ISO View
