Flexible configuration to meet customized requirements Single module (stand alone use) Endurance can work alone (using a single master module) simply providing external power (12 VDC) and interfacing with digital signals to control the charge and the discharge. INTERFACE SIGNALS: +12 VDC (external power supply) Charge Enable - Discharge Enable Critical alarms (temperature - over charge - over discharge) Optional: System Manager (see below) Single string More Endurance modules can be connected in series to reach a voltage up to 950V and higher (under specifi c condition). One master module and more slave modules (depending on the voltage requirement) can be connected in series via CAT 5E cables. INTERFACE SIGNALS: +12 VDC (external power supply) Charge Enable - Discharge Enable Critical alarms (temperature - over charge - over discharge) Optional: System Manager (see below) Parallel strings (complete system) Two or more strings can be connected in parallel when more power or more energy are required. In this case the use of the system manager allows to correctly control all modules. It is easy and fast to add more strings in systems that are already operational, in order to upgrade them to match new requirements and extend the life of the system. SYSTEM MANAGER ESM01MB SYSTEM MANAGER is a control unit that has the following features: Supplies the power to all master modules (external power supply of 12 VDC is needed) Drives the output signals (dry contacts) of charge/discharge enable and critical alarms (temperature - over charge - over discharge) Provides an interface with standard communication protocols (RS-485 or CAN bus) to any external system that wants to monitor the modules state (cell voltages, temperature, alarms, Etc...)
