PROINSO includes SCHOTT Solar modules in its catalogue PROINSO is to supply SCHOTT Solar PV solar modules, both in its ten branches around the world and through the International Network of Qualified Installers, which has over 1,900 members. The PV solar modules from SCHOTT Solar are being added to PROINSO's catalogue, which already includes Trina Solar, Canadian Solar and REC modules, SMA inverters, and MECASOLAR trackers, fixed structures and foundation screws, of which PROINSO is the international provider. PROINSO, a company that supplies modules, inverters, trackers and fixed structures for ground- or roof-mounted PV systems, has added to its catalogue SCHOTT Solar PV solar modules, which will be supplied by all ten PROINSO branches around the world and its International Network of Qualified Installers. Thus, SCHOTT Solar modules are now part of PROINSO's product portfolio. The company also holds commercial agreements to distribute Trina Solar, Canadian Solar and REC modules, SMA inverters, and is the exclusive retailer of solar trackers, fixed structures and foundation screws from MECASOLAR. At SCHOTT Solar, PV Sales Manager for Spain and Portugal Elvira Martín is satisfied with the deal reached by the two companies and says, 'It will enable us to strengthen our presence in the global PV industry, since PROINSO has branches in Spain, Germany, Greece, Italy, the USA, Great Britain, France, Canada, China and the Czech Republic, and a network of 1,900 qualified installers.' Ms Martín adds, 'PROINSO is a partner that will promote our brand in its distribution channels through the ongoing training of the members of its International Network of Qualified Installers, which comprises nearly 2,000 companies in all five continents.' The SCHOTT Solar PV solar modules, manufactured with high-quality materials, have been designed for high energy yields for a long time. This feature was demonstrated by studies conducted by independent institutes, such as a long-term study by the renowned Fraunhofer Institute, which ran for over 26 years. In this study, the solar panels by SCHOTT Solar achieved over 90% of their original performance after many years in use.
