The beginning The KNUBIX-company was founded by Markus Michelberger in 2008. He was searching for a solution to use flatroofs for efficient energyproduction and a system that... doesn t need roof-penetration, so the roof stays solid without holes is lightweight so it doesn t add much load to a roof is stable and lasts on the roof even in strong winds is fast and easy to install The result was the KNUBIX SR-System!
Why flat-roofs? The installation of photovoltaic-plants on roofs especially flat-roofs has many convincing advantages: the energy is produced where it s needed e.g. producing companies, stores, malls shade-free location of the plant secure: no theft, no vandalism, no damage due to animals etc.

Quick installation: 1. Installing floor-rails Measuring, laying of protection mats, sections are lined up and joined together with profileconnectors. 2. Module-supports Measuring row divisions, front and rear supports are clicked into place. 3. Modules: The KNUBIX-Systems fit for all framed modules with a width of 798-1.086 mm (length flexible). The Systems can be used for plants from 5 kwp up to MWs. Special recommendation: The ITS Eco plus Module with 250 W has a authorized snowload of 5.400 Pa.
