PRESS CONFERENCE MARCH 2012 FAYMONVILLE, A GLOBAL PLAYER Faymonville is THE Belgian specialist and one of the European leaders in the manufacturing of trailers and semi-trailers for special and heavy haulage markets. From the basic to the most sophisticated semitrailer, from production to financing, from Ireland to Russia, Faymonville nowadays stands as a global player aiming to satisfy all the demands and needs of its clients. From 25 tons to 10,000 tons. The range offered by Faymonville is both extensive and varied. It includes flatbed semi-trailers, stepframe semitrailers and lowbeds. The stepframe semi-trailer range is the broadest with configurations of anything from 2 to 10 axle lines and extremely varied technical solutions : friction-steered axles, knuckle-steering axles, pendel-axles, etc. The Faymonville range is therefore highly diversified, with products which meet the client's requirements. This product range is now completed with the introduction of the MAX Trailer brand, which is highly standardized. The range of this new brand is designed to fulfill the market place which demands a trailer of high quality build standards but without the greater sophistication of heavier trailers. Many jobs. Faymonville is known for its semi-trailers for special haulage and glass haulage. But the group offers plenty more services and solutions : the after-sales service and assistance, the repairing and sales of used vehicles, the long-term rental of trucks and semi-trailers along with financing for new or used vehicles. These are different jobs which make Faymonville a global player.

Production tools. Faymonville's production activities are based in three factories. One factory in Büllingen in Belgium, a second factory in Lentzweiler in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and a third factory in Goleniow in Poland. This third factory will be the one to handle the production of the Max Trailers. The engineering and production rely on the most upto-date technologies such as the Finite-element method, oxyacetylene cutting, automated welding, laser cutting, blasting and also metallization. The company also has at its disposal a CNC hall which houses numerically controlled equipment for high precision tooling. Development strategy. The development strategy of the Faymonville group works in two directions. Firstly comes the extension of the range with the creation of the MAX Trailer brand. This new brand will open the doors to the "lighter specialist haulage" market. Secondly the pursuit of the group's ongoing internationalization. Faymonville is present in all European markets, either directly or through partnerships with companies that are well-established in their respective markets. Nevertheless, Faymonville is also expanding outside of Europe, in South America, Mexico, North Africa, South Africa, India, Australia, Turkey and even in the Middle East. Furthermore, the Modulmax model range enables Faymonville to be present on many markets thanks to the interchangeability of its models with modules of other brands.

The Faymonville group of Companies : Faymonville SA, F.E.L. SA and Faymonville Polska Sp. z o.o. : Construction of trailers and semitrailers for special haulage, glass and pre-cast concrete structures. Faymonville Distribution SA : Sales and marketing of semi-trailers and sales of used vehicles Faymonville Lease SA : offers semi-trailer financing options Renting Car-WTS N.V. : long-term rental of trucks and semi-trailers Faymonville Service SA : o servicing workshops o 24hr emergency service o Fully equipped service truck o repairs on all brands The Faymonville group in short Staff : approximately 500 people Turnover : the turnover was approximately 145 million Euro in 2011, of which 90% was from export. Product Range : semi-trailers with payload capacities of between 20 and 10,000 tons Production units : BE-Büllingen (17,000 m² of manufacturing space, a servicing centre of 6,500 m² and a CNC division of 4,500m²), LU- Lentzweiler ( 21,000 m2 of manufacturing space), PL-Goleniow (6,200 m2) Production capacity : up to 2,000 vehicles a year (1200 vehicles in 2011), the greatest production capacity in Europe. Networks throughout Europe : from Spain to Scandinavia, from Ireland to Russia.

MAX Trailer Standardized range of products for the "Lighter specialist haulage" market The European market is now welcoming a new brand : MAX Trailer. This brand covers these new standardized vehicles ensuring that the trailers are built to the same very high quality standards associated and matching that of the Faymonville product range. The target group : construction and transportation companies that carry out 'Lighter specialist haulage' jobs. The concept The vehicles of the Max Trailer range are standardized, studied and conceived with a guaranteed quality. These vehicles comply with the European transport regulations and are provided with European certification. The trailer do not exceed a length of 13,600 mm from kingpin to the rear and a width of 2,550 mm. The MAX Trailers are designed for "Lighter specialist haulage" mainly carried out by construction and haulage companies. By 'Lighter specialist haulage', one means the movement of a simple load or loads which do not require special permits or movement orders. The MAX Trailer brand thus expands the offer of the Faymonville group to new products centre-axle trailers and drawbar trailers. The construction and transport companies, which represent the core of the Max Trailer market, generally turn to small local manufacturers for their special haulage needs. Those often supply them with products which are no longer up-to-date. MAX Trailer Distribution offers them quality products at a competitive price.

Distribution. The distribution of the MAX Trailer will only be done through a network of dealers which will essentially be made up from the existing Faymonville sales network. During the course of the year, this network may be further enhanced by some new dealers. Max Trailer dealers, must comply with a certain number of conditions, which essentially boils down to them being very well established in their area. These distributors must have direct contact with the clients and be responsible for guiding them in their choices. If the client is looking for a more sophisticated vehicle with more special options or particular features, the dealer will point them towards the Faymonville range. The MAX Trailer range has been specially conceived to be sold through a dealership network. For example, in order to optimize transportation, the vehicles can be shipped without the ramps fitted. The dealers may stock ramps, stakes and other accessories, for fitment prior to delivery. This all falls in line with an attempt at rationalization, in line with standard practices, for example, of the curtainsider industry. A configuration program is available on the brand's website www.maxtrailer.eu. The potential buyer has the possibility to configure a trailer following his requests. Afterwards, the local dealer will complete the order. A separate independent brand. The MAX Trailer brand is provided with its own identity distinct from that of Faymonville. Sold by MAX Trailer Distribution, a subsidiary of the Faymonville group, MAX Trailer is the group s second brand and has its own sales and marketing strategy. The Faymonville range, which is of premium quality, with a huge amount of variety is an almost tailormade product; MAX Trailer is the standard product yet with the same premium quality. This new brand extends the group's offer towards the 'Lighter

specialist haulage' market and enables the group to focus on a new target area. The two key figures in the Max Trailer camp are Frédéric Küpper (Head of Development) and Mario Faymonville (Head of Sales and Technical dealer supervisor). We would finally like to point out that this is the first time in a decade that a new brand appears in the market and what's more, all over Europe at once. And this during a period which has seen and still sees many manufacturers disappear, as they have not found ways of cutting costs, nor focused on standardization or managed to continue guaranteeing top quality.

MAX Trailer One range, around twenty models Before the end of 2012, the MAX Trailer range will include around twenty models. The core of the range will be the 3 and 4-axle stepframe semi-trailers and the 3-axles flatbeds. The range. The MAX Trailer range will roll out around twenty models, enough to cover almost the entire range of needs of its target group : the construction and haulage companies involved in Lighter specialist haulage'. The MAX Trailer series will be marketed throughout the whole of Europe. This is why the vehicles will be granted with a European certification. The models in this range all fit in with the same logic of simplicity and standardization. The standardization of components such as the ramps enables access to a higher quality.

The MAX Trailer offer includes the following configurations : - 3-axle stepframe semi-trailer - 3-axle extendable stepframe semi-trailer - 3-axle stepframe semi-trailer with a lifting and lowering loading platform - 3-axle extendable semi-trailer with wheel recess - 3-axle flatbed semi-trailer - 3-axle extendable flatbed semi-trailer with different heights (fifth wheel height of 950 to 1.350 mm) - 4-axle stepframe semi-trailer - 4-axle extendable stepframe semi-trailer - 3-axle close coupled drawbar trailer with ramps - 3-axle front turntable steered drawbar trailer with ramps - 4-axle front turntable steered drawbar trailer with ramps - 3-axle front turntable steered drawbar trailer with, gooseneck and ramps - 4-axle front turntable steered drawbar trailer with, gooseneck and ramps

The MAX Trailer range will certainly evolve and be further expanded. The vehicles presented. The models presented during the press conference are : - Max100-N-3-8.60-U : 3-axle stepframe semi-trailer with single and double ramps - Max100-N-3A-8.60-U : 3-axle extendable stepframe semi-trailer with single and double ramps - Max100-N-3A-8.60 : 3-axle stepframe semi-trailer with aluminium ramps - Max100-N-3-9.30-UB : 3 axle semi-trailer with liftand lowerable loading platform and double ramps - Max100-N-4A-8.60-U : 4-axle extendable stepframe semi-trailer with double ramps - Max200-N-3A-13.60 : 3-axle extendable flatbed semitrailer

Production Poland, a rational choice The MAX Trailer will be produced in Poland, in the Goleniow factory (Faymonville Polska). A rational choice which allows the overall cost of the product to remain competitive, whilst still guaranteeing the same premium quality. A new assembly line. The production of the MAX Trailer vehicles, once in full swing, should reach 600 units per year. A new adjustable assembly line with a capacity that can be multiplied by two or by three will be fully operational by November 2012. This expansion of the production facility will create employment for another 35-40 people during the first year. Once full capacity has been reached, that is to say 600 vehicles per year, a total of 150 people will be brought in to support the staff already employed in Poland. Quality How can one guarantee a high quality level with a price that is as low as possible? By making savings at different levels, compared to a non standard vehicle : - Logistics and rationalization : optimization of transport and an assembly line similar to the curtainsiders where the equipment is directly available on the production line - Certification by type and not for each vehicle - Optimization of the procurement through standardization of the products - Production and assembly completed in Poland The very concept of the MAX Trailer requires the process to be shortened and simplified. What's more, once the vehicle has been developed, it no longer has to rely on our technical offices, unlike the products of the Faymonville range which are regularly subject to changes in order to suit the specific needs of the

clients. The MAX Trailer series rests on the standardization of components and therefore, of the product itself. This concept enables us to present a product that is financially attractive, that satisfies the essential needs of the clients and benefits from the Faymonville quality.
