Siemens AG Österreich - Transformers Weiz Reference for DT-Renewables The transformers are developed in a close relationship together with the customer. Power ratings from 900kVA up to 10MVA have been realized. Transformers with a voltage level of 72,5kV have already been built and successfully tested. State of the art materials like aramid fiber insulation components or natural and synthetic ester liquids are used. Strong experience in all kinds of cooling methods like ONAN, ONAF, KNAN, KFAF, KFWF allow the design and manufacturing of transformers with highest demands on small dimensions. Also special tests like short circuit, vibration or tank rupture have been performed successfully.
