MODEL EXPO ITALY 14 th EDITION The 14 th edition of Model Expo Italy will be held on Saturday and Sunday, 17th and 18th of March 2018, and is the most important national event dedicated to static and dynamic modelling and games. Model Expo Italy is truly an event that anyone passionate about games or models can t miss, with over 70,000 visitors in just two days, a schedule with 200 events including interactive workshops and shows, over 400 company and association exhibitors and 6 thematic areas. In 2018 the exhibition area will increase from 60,000 square metres to 67,000 square metres in 8 pavilions. For the fourth consecutive year, Model Expo Italy will host the Games District: a large entertainment event for the public with shows, competitions and contests based on the world of comics, games and cosplayers. The amount of space for Legos has increased this edition, with an exhibition area of over 3,000 square metres to house some of the most famous and impressive subjects built with the world s most famous coloured building blocks. The return of Elettroexpo in 2018 is also newsworthy; the fair dedicated to electronics, information technology and amateur radio has been set for the same days as Model Expo Italy. At Elettroexpo, Model Expo Italy visitors can find hardware, batteries, spare parts, light bulbs and much more for their models. WHERE Veronafiere is the leading direct organiser of events in Italy, second in terms of sales turnover and leader in Europe. Veronafiere is located a few kilometers from the main exits of the highways, easily reachable also from the train station and close to it of the historical center of Verona. THEMATIC AREAS Model aircraft, model cars, model railways, model ships, plastic model, slot cars, mini 4 WD, flight simulators, Lego area and Games District, the game s section.

MODEL EXPO ITALY THEMATIC AREAS MODEL AIRCRAFT Radio-controlled or with cable, free flight or drones: the whole universe of model aircraft finds its place in Model Expo Italy. Widespread and active in Italy, boasts a remarkable group of enthusiasts and can count several samples, some of which were hosted over the years in this fair, ready to perform in the big indoor area. MODEL CARS A burst, static and electric: this section provides an overview of all areas of model cars, ensuring an exciting show. Performance models of radio-controlled cars, off-road cars, routes for cars crawlers and tanks are the protagonists of unique moments, such as competitions of national importance. An entire hall and a large outdoor area are available to associations to organize events and moments of meeting place for fans of these disciplines. MODEL SHIPS The largest pool in Europe hosts a rich program of spectacular performances. Submarines, sailboats, large passenger ships and ancient sailing ships, all carefully finished, parade under the eyes of the audience and give life to one of the most vibrant and fascinating sections of the trade show.
MODEL RAILWAYS A passion that is not just a hobby, but also knowledge: the Model Railway Model Expo Italy defines the boundaries of the history and geography of the country through kilometers of tracks, cars, locomotives, and more and more realistic scenarios. From the scale H0 scale N: they are built across all major scales reproduction railway modeling the models on display, behind which there s so much technical skill that is passed down from generation to generation, even the most modern technologies. PLASTIC MODEL When we talk about static model we immediately think of soldiers, but at Model Expo Italy there is much more items. In addition to lead and plastic reproductions of the military and dioramas, exhibits precious collections of models of planes, ships, cars, motorcycles, military vehicles, tanks and cannons. In this area, the model is not just men: by GAM-Gruppo Amici Modellismo that brings together also Italian miniaturists, or fans of miniature houses and environments, this area presents furniture, accessories, objects and sometimes even characters, faithfully reproduced in 1:12 scale. SPECIAL AREA In this area you can find slot cars, mini4wd and and flight simulators.
LEGO AREA The new LEGO Area is a section which occupies a whole pavilion of 5.000 mq, dedicated to creations made with the little coloured bricks manufactured by the historical Danish company. Set up by the main associations in the sector, this space allows the presentation of a wide variety of the most successful subjects that have always fascinated fans of Lego of all ages.
GAMES DISTRICT Fourth edition of the format dedicated to the game in all its multiple forms! Games District is enriched with new and exciting events for the public. Board games, video games, cosplay, events, competitions and performances will enliven the pavilion entirely dedicated to the event.
