Our Current Main Products Automotive Batteries: Lead and lead alloys Plastic components for batteries 12

Realization of Industrial Battery Project: Product types Stationary batteries batteries that provide uninterruptible, standby and emergency power supply in the telecommunications, renewable energy (wind, solar energy etc.), industry, energy, medicine, finance and transport sectors Traction batteries batteries aimed at power supply of the on-floor material handling equipment of warehouses, urban rail electric transport, railway carriages, coal and steel industry Block-batteries used as stationary and traction batteries 13

Industrial Energy Park Project Realization Taking into consideration the worldwide trend of the increasing use of alternative energy sources (own wind-parks, photovoltaic and low-grade heat utilization systems) for the purposes of energy supply of industrial enterprises, ISIC WESTA made a decision to create an industrial energy park that will provide the energy supply of the whole industrial complex of enterprises of WESTA corporation. Presently, taking into consideration the substantial growth of the load of Dnipropetrovsk energy supply system, the scheme of external energy supply with the use of own load-center substation transformer (PS 150/6 kv) with the total capacity of 64 MW that is connected to the sub-station of Dneprovskaya energy system( 150 kv -1) was adopted for the electric energy supply of the WESTA industrial complex. 14

WESTA Industrial Energy Park Structure 15

WESTA Industrial Energy Park Structure The Energy Park includes the following main elements: the central power unit of the Energy park is specialized load center substation Transformation Substation 150/6 kv (PS 150/6 kv) which combines, commutates and manages work process of all Energy park equipment, as well as, ensures optimal power supply of the entire industrial complex of enterprises; wind-power systems with a total installed capacity of 4.5 MW, using wind energy for electric power generation; photovoltaic modules with a total capacity of 0,5 MW, using solar energy for electric power generation; accumulator plant for the back-up of electricity, generated by wind turbines and photovoltaic modules, or, if necessary, electricity back-up from the power system, in the volume of up to 5 MW; electrical equipment, connecting wind turbines, photovoltaic modules and battery of the accumulator system with substation. 22.4 MW boiler station, which provides hot water-supply and heating of the industrial premises; 250 kw water heating solar collectors aimed, used for heating of the industrial premises; 250 kw water heating thermal pumps, used for heating of the industrial premises; 16
