Space saving transport The IMS vehicle mounting set has been designed for the space saving transport of a whole cutting robot unit. The set is available in different modules so that the customer can individually choose according to his requirements. The basic set 1 consists of a mounting for the cable drum and the remote control unit for water and air. The additional module electrical chain winch 2 extends the basic set with a chain winch and an adjustable angular arm (operator safety winch optional). A swivelling winch arm allows for very easy insertion and removal of the robot into and from the manhole. The additional drawer module 3 is able to carry the robot system, accessories, water- and nitrogen equipment properly. Simultaneously the connections for water and air are pre-mounted. A separate control desk 4 is available which can either be mounted at the rear of the mounting set or somewhere else in the vehicle. The control desk provides additional power access and internal power sockets. Water and air switches are pre-mounted.
