FLOOR JACKS Fig. 1 Floor Jack Installation Instructions Fig. 2 Fig. 3 1. Place flat side of one plate on footing. Put large diameter post on plate with holes on top. Make sure post is exactly vertical and is centered under the beam. (Fig. 1) For Model C4 (12-1 ) Jack skip steps 2 and 4 2. Insert small diameter post inside large post. For maximum height, position small diameter post with holes at bottom. Reverse for shorter applications. (Fig. 2) 3. Turn round nut to top of threads on adjustment screw. Place adjustment screw on top of small diameter post. Tapered side of nut will fit into small diameter post with the shoulder resting on top of post. (Fig. 3) 4. Lift small diameter post to highest possible position. Align holes in posts. Place two bolts through holes and secure with nuts. (Fig. 4). Place plate on top of screw with flat side up. Use adjustable wrench to complete adjustment. (Fig. ) NOTE: MAKE SURE POST IS EXACTLY VERTICAL. Secure plates with proper nails, screws, or bolts. NOTE: For best support under wooden structures place large diameter tube and plate directly under beam. (Fig. 6) To correct sagging floors,place beam under joists, hold in place with two Floor Jacks. Adjust floor jacks one-half turn each week over several weeks. Telescoping jacks should be used for additional support, not the primary means of support. When used in a lifting application, consult a licensed engineer to determine safe allowable load. (Fig. ) NOTA: ASEGURARSE DE QUE LA POSICIÓN DEL POSTE SEA PERFECTAMENTE VERTICAL. Asegurar las placas con los clavos, tornillos, o bulones adecuados. NOTA: Para un mejor soporte debajo de estructuras de madera, colocar el tubo de diámetro mayor y la placa directamente debajo del tirante. Pour une hauteur maximum, placez le poteau au petit diamètre avec les trous en bas. Reverser la position pour les utilisations plus courtes. (Fig. 2) 3. Tournez autour de l'écrou au-dessus des fils de la vis de réglage. Placez la vis de réglage sur le poteau de petit diamètre. Le côté conique de l'écrou se logera dans le poteau au petit diamètre avec l'épaulement restant positionné au-dessus du poteau. (Fig. 3) 4.Soulevez le poteau de faible diamètre dans la position plus élevée possible. Alignez les trous dans des poteaux. Placez deux boulons par des trous et les fixez avec des écrous. (Fig. 4). Placez le plat sur la vis, avec le côté lisse vers le haut. Utilisez la clé réglable pour compléter l'ajustement. (Fig. ) ATTENTION: Assurez-vous QUE LE POTEAU EST EXACTEMENT VERTICAL. Sécurisez les plats avec les clous, les vis ou les boulons appropriés. NOTE: Pour un meilleur appui sous les structures en bois, placez le tube et le plat de grand diamètre directement sous le balancier. (Fig. 6) Pour corriger l'affaissement des pavements, placez le balancier sous les poutrelles et tenez-le en place à l'aide des deux crics rouleurs. Ajustez les crics rouleurs un demi-tour chaque semaine pendant plusieurs semaines. Vérins télescopiques doivent être utilisées pour un soutien supplémentaire, et non le principal moyen de soutien. Lorsqu'ils sont utilisés dans une application de levage, consultez un ingénieur agréé de déterminer la charge admissible en toute sécurité. Choose the correct size and strength Mono-Post for the project based on construction documents (Fig.1) 2. Adjust screw to slightly short of the length needed between footer and load carrying beam at installation location 3. Place Mono-Post vertically between footer and beam with the adjustment nut and screw on the footer (adjustable end down) 4. Adjust screw to wedge the Mono-Post between footer and beam, tighten until Mono-Post is firmly centered directly under the load carrying beam and the footer below (Fig. 2). Additional screw adjustments may be made during construction to keep floor level 6. Poured concrete basement floor permanently locks Mono-Post adjustment (Fig.3) TAMPERPROOF ADJUSTMENT: MONO-POST SHOULD BE POSITIONED WITH ADJUSTMENT NUT AND SCREW AT THE FOOTER.
