Fields of application The lean pallet size dolly can be used widely in internal and external logistics. The dollies are designed to be used as a multipurpose load carrier. For example it can carry standard pallets, such as EURO size (1225 x 800 mm model) and ISO size (1225 x 1000 mm model), also KLT s (crates), metal cages or collapsible boxes, which they have been designed for. In case of uncertainty, please contact the supplier. The dollies can be operated by hand as one unit or connected as a milk-run train towed with a suitable tow-tractor or forklift. 5 Corporate presentation May 2013

Parameters such as the condition of the floors, aisle-width, length of milkrun route, etc have a significant impact on the design of the milkrun train. Be also aware about maximum pulling capacity of the towing tractor. Therefore, we strongly recommend that K. Hartwall is consulted and thorough tests are carried out in order to make sure that the safety aspect is properly taken care off. 6 Corporate presentation May 2013

Maximum load and stacking Max. load per dolly: 1,000 kg In the warehouse max. 6 empty dollies Note that dollies are not stackable when loaded! Swivel wheels must be turned inside direction 11 Corporate presentation May 2013
Transport safety ALWAYS SECURE LOAD PROPER WAY! Wheeled units should be secured by using combination of both lashing and blocking. However if the unit is enclosed on all sides by either the framework of the carrying vehicle of other units, it may be transported without being lashed, but it should still be subject to blocking. Note that dolly strap devices are designed for secure load on dolly itself only. We recommend the loaded dollies always to be stored on a flat surface at the warehouse. The truck should always park on flat surface for loading/unloading. 12 Corporate presentation May 2013
Safety equipment & defective products It is recommended to wear gloves and safety shoes when handling the dollies. The first action is to mark the defective/damaged products right away and put them aside. A defective tray, box, crate, dolly or pallet should not be in use because it is very difficult and dangerous to handle. Please send us pictures of the defective products and explanations to contactkhw@k-hartwall.com 13 Corporate presentation May 2013
