This Trailer Jack is designed specially for use with A-Frame hitch. Never attempt to mount this Trailer Jack to a hitch or trailer not specifically designed for it. Insert the top of the Trailer Jack through the hole in the center of the A-Frame hitch until the Mounting Plate rests against the hitch. Line up the holes on the Mounting Plate with the holes in the A-Frame hitch. Secure the A-Frame Trailer Jack to the trailer tongue using 3/8 (10mm) diameter bolts, washers, nuts, and lock washers (grade 5 hardware required; not included). OPERATION After inserting base of A-Frame Trailer Jack into either, a base (not included) or a wheel (not included), it is ready to be used to support a trailer. Once the trailer is securely attached to the A-Frame Trailer Jack, turning the Side Wind Crank (handle) clockwise will raise the trailer. Turning it counterclockwise will lower the trailer. Hitching the trailer: The trailer should be on a level surface and the wheels should be blocked to prevent rolling. Raise the tongue of the trailer by cranking (turning) the handle of the A-Frame Trailer Jack clockwise. Raise the trailer tongue about 6 above the ball hitch on the vehicle to which the trailer is to be hitched. Slowly guide the towing vehicle back to the trailer hitch. When the towing vehicles hitching ball is just below the trailer hitch. Stop the towing vehicle and make sure the engine is off. Turn the A-Frame Trailer Jack handle slowly counterclockwise to lower the trailer onto the ball hitch. Keep turning the handle until the base rises away from the ground. Unhitching the trailer: Make sure both the towing vehicle and trailer are stopped on level ground and that the ground is hard enough to support the weight of the trailer. Turn off the vehicle engine. Block the wheels of the trailer. Turn the handle of the A-Frame Trailer Jack clockwise to raise the trailer away from the hitching ball of the towing vehicle. Raise the trailer hitch about 6 above the hitching ball. Carefully have the towing vehicle moved forward away from the trailer. WARNING: Never hitch or unhitch alone. Always have another adult helping and watching to prevent accidents and/or personal injury. SKU 95157 For technical questions, please call 1-800-444-335 Page 4
