73- FireTECH Series Thermocouples and accessories The FireTech temperature sensors are designed to measure the temperature of the air or hot surfaces in fire test chambers. The FireTECH system includes: sensors with exposed plate with insulator, surface temperature sensors with disc and a range of accessories such as holding tubes and insulators. All components are made according to EN 1363-1: 2012. Temperature sensors with exposition plate. The measuring element is typically thermocouple type K. The measuring point is located on the plate and protected by an insulator against direct contact with fire. The thermocouple construction is vibration-resistant and the special sheath material provides a long working-life while retaining its measuring properties. There are available straight or bent holding tubes. Specially developed tube and plate connection makes it easy to position the plate in the correct position. Surface thermocouples with disk. Sufrace thermocouples type K are made with a measuring disk in 2 possible variants of the measuring hot-junction. The measuring range, type of hot-junction and electrical connection are agreed individually. All sensors are compliant with PN-EN 1363-1. Accessories: holding tube Holding tube for probes of FireTECH system is made with special connection for mounting exposure plate.
