Project Objectives Contribute to the creation of an integrated transport system in the Mediterranean Support Southern Mediterranean Partner Countries implement the regulatory aspects RTAP 2014-2020, on Actions: - Action 8: Efficient land transport systems; - Action 9: International land transport haulage; - Action 10: Road safety; - Action 11: Urban transport 3

Sustainable results from Previous Project Phase Awareness on UN international Agreements and best practices Familiarization with the work of UNECE, EU, IRU Opening of the AETR Agreement to some EuroMed countries Road Maps AETR - ATP - ADR 20 ADR Trainers Internationally Certified (IRU ADR Instructors) Accreditation of the Tunisian Training Centre of Borj Centria by IRU Studies, study tours, analytical work, policy recommendations Changes in transport legislation in many EuroMed countries Liaison and joint event and efforts with UN SE on Road Safety New accessions to UN Agreements expected 4

Efforts made under RRU Project 79 events under the road transport component, with 2,175 experts engaged such as, trainings on AETR, ADR, Vehicle Regulations as well as study tours, analytical work, UNECE WPs participation 6
