CHECK VALVE MODEL NR-020, NR-010 MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS 1. Routine service is an integral part of the standard procedure for maintenance of a water supply system. 2. Recommended routine maintenance once or twice a year, according to the quality and kinds of the fluids in the system. A. Installation The valve can be installed either horizontally or vertically, while the flow is toward the upper part. Shut-off valve in order to allow maintenance and removal of the valve, it is recommended to install a shut-off valve will before the inlet and / or after the outlet of the valve, according to the pipeline configuration. For easy maintenance, the valve will be installed with the spring and piston unit upward oriented. B. Periodic Maintenance: 1. Check the flanges tightening bolts twice a year and retighten if needed 2. When the check valve is close under backpressure, check the reverse flow leakage by external hearing. C. Winterizing In regions where temperature during winter ( but not at irrigation season) drops below 4 0 C, and freezing hazard exist, please act according to Winterizing instructions in chapter Winterizing guidelines attached.

CHECK VALVE (NR-030, NR-040) MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS 1. Routine service is an integral part of the standard procedure for maintenance of a water supply system. 2. Recommended routine maintenance once or twice a year, according to the quality and kind of water in the system. A. Installation The valve can be installed either horizontally or vertically, while the flow is toward the upper part. The counter weight assembly (11 for NR 030 & 1 for NR-040) will be installed in such a way that the arm turns down at a 45 0 angle when the valve closes. Shut-off valve in order to allow maintenance and removal of the valve, a shut-off valve will be installed before the inlet and / or after the outlet of the valve, according to the conditions in the pipeline. Stainless Steel shaft (12 for NR 030 & 14 for NR - 040) it is forbidden to weld or to coat the shaft. B. Periodic Maintenance 2. Greasing of the bolt and key of the counter weight. 3. Greasing of the cover bolts. 4. Brush painting of the surface area of the valve body. 5. When the valve is installed in a fed by poor water quality system, open the valve cover and remove dirt and solids. C. Winterizing 1. In regions where temperature during winter ( but not at irrigation season ) drops below 4 0 C and freezing hazard exist, please act according to Winterizing Instruction in chapter Winterizing Guidelines attached.
ELECTRIC LIMIT SWITCH Limiter Gate for Non-Return Valve NR-030 & NR-040 with cover LS-010 Model 3-4 LS-015 Model 6-16 A device which permanently monitors the status of the non-return valve, signals the pump and promises a smooth and trouble-free operation of the system. The device is made up of a stationary part, fastened to the body of the nonreturn valve and a single moving part, fastened to the shaft of the valve, which moves with the opening/ closing of the non-return valve. The limiter for the non-return valve can be obtained in diameters 3 - to 16. INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION AND USAGE The base (1) of the limiter gate and the limiter gate itself (2) should be installed on the brass plug (3) of the non-return valve, being firmly fastened there by the bolt (4) located on the side of the base. The activator (5) should be installed on the shaft of the non-return valve, with the straight part pointing at the limiter gate pulley. The activator can be adjusted in such a way that it activates the limiter according to the desired opening / closing angle of the non-return valve float. Once it is properly set, the activator is fastened to the shaft with the fastening bolt (6). PARTS LIST NO PART NAME 1. Base 2. Limiter Gate 3. Brass Plug 4. Bolt 5. Activator 6. Fastening Bolt
