THE XF105 The XF105 is ideal for long-distance haulage applications. With a clever chassis design, attractive exterior and the most spacious cab in its class, the XF series sets the bar for driver comfort. Available in rigid and prime mover configurations with an economic 12.9 litre PACCAR MX engine as standard, the DAF XF has the power to perform. STYLISH With its elegant and distinctive appearance, the XF105 is the calling card for every transport operator. It includes a stylish lower grille, which extends to the bumper to channel maximum airflow for exceptional engine performance. The integrated, aerodynamic exterior sun visor (available in the Super Space Cab) and optional integrated skylights add an extra touch of style. EFFICIENT The XF105 offers low running costs and high efficiency, featuring carefully balanced, integrated and optimal driveline technology. High rear-axle ratios give the XF105 the best combination of performance, efficiency and low tare weight. Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology delivers Euro 5 emission requirements, and the aerodynamic skirts and fenders contribute to a further reduction in fuel consumption. ROBUST The robust XF chassis is made with high quality steel, resulting in an exceptionally strong but lightweight design for high payloads. The steel bumper increases protection and reduces the risk of any front-end damage during collisions. Likewise, the headlights are made of high impact-resistant Lexan to help give operators a damage-free driving experience. VISIBLE The large windscreen and door windows offer the driver an excellent, clear view. Electrically adjustable side-view (heated) mirrors, curb-view mirror, side-view camera system (optional) and Xenon headlights (optional) also contribute to a large field of vision for all driving conditions. Corner air deflectors guide the airflow along the cab to keep the door handles and side windows clean.
SAFETY The XF105 combines the very best in safety and assistance systems to support the driver and reduce the risk of accidents. The optional Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) helps to prevent jack-knifing and roll over, and keeps the driver safely in control. Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) helps the driver to maintain a safe distance from the vehicle ahead, and the optional Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) provides assistance if the vehicle inadvertently drifts out of its lane or danger arises when changing lanes. DAF s unique Night Lock (optional) effectively protects against break-ins and theft. ULTRA-SPACIOUS The Super Space Cab sets the standard in driver comfort with a standing height of 210cm. The cylinder block and cylinder head are made from Compact Graphite Iron to further improve reliability, while overall fewer parts provide longer service intervals, prolonging the lifetime of the XF105.
