The theme of this year s homecoming parade is Meet Me In St. Louis. As you decorate the golf carts with pride for a city that many of us call home, feel free to interpret this theme in different ways. We also want to encourage pride in our institution and being a Billiken. Though decorating your golf cart in relation to this theme is highly encouraged, it is not required. Please keep in mind that this is Homecoming and Family Weekend where our campus is filled with alumni, parents, family members, and children. Should a float be decorated in a way that is not in good taste or keeping with good relations for the City of Saint Louis and Saint Louis University, it WILL be disqualified and not permitted to participate in the parade. YOUR FLOAT REPRESENTS THE UNIVERSITY AND ALL SLU STUDENTS. Any float built by professional float builders will not be eligible for competition. Organizations/Departments/Offices may allow commercial sponsors to place two (2) signs, no larger than 2 x3 on the float. Each entry is limited to three (3) sponsors.
