Section 4 The Fläkt Woods Plate Fan Range is the result of detailed market analysis and intensive research and development by the world leaders in air movement technology. By setting and achieving far-sighted objectives for the Plate Range Fläkt Woods has produced a range of fans to satisfy the most exacting demands of users world-wide. The fans are supplied fully assembled and ready for installation in air movement applications. However, fans can be supplied in self assembly packs and component form for agricultural and OEM applications. Section 4 - Plate Fans
Section 4 - Plate Mounted Fans - JM Aerofoil Plate
JM Aerofoil Plate Mounted Axial Section 4.1 315mm - 630mm diameter Volume flow up to 4.08m 3 /s Static pressures up to 175 Pa Motor protection IP55 Speed controllable Sizes 31JMP - (315mm) to 63JMP - (630mm). Fan Performance Coupled with the above fan diameters the speed controllable motor allows the exact performance required to be obtained. Impellers A unique high efficiency aerofoil section blade. The Fläkt Woods impellers are all high pressure die cast to offer thin aerofoil sections for low generation of noise. Every cast aluminium component is X-ray examined using Real Time Radiography inspection prior to assembly. The maximum pitch angles shown allow for speed control by frequency inverter. Motors All motors are totally enclosed airstream rated class F insulation. Constructed from aluminium as standard with special T slot fixings. Suitable for horizontal through to vertical shaft operation. Supplied IP55 with removable drain plugs. These motors are suitable for inverter speed control down to 20% of full speed. Electrical Supply 220-240V / 50Hz / 1φ 380-420V / 50Hz / 3φ Temperature Range -40 C to 50 C as standard. Fans can be continuously operated at temperatures up to 70 C. Whist these fans are operating in excess of 50 C fans should be run at full speed only. Plates Manufactured from mild steel with powder coat finish, fans are supplied as standard with motor side guard. Accessories Louvre shutter, Motor side guard, Bell mouth inlet and Electronic transformer and inverter type speed controllers. 2100 Series - 2101GP/2102 Section 4.2/3 280mm - 710mm diameter Volume flow up to 4.1m 3 /s Static pressures up to 300 Pa 2101GP: aluminium clad impeller 2102: aerofoil section glass filled polypropylene impeller Sizes 2101GP: 315, 355, 400, 450, 500, 630, 710mm diameter. 2102: 280, 315, 355, 400, 450, 500, 560, 670 and 710mm diameter. Larger sizes are available please enquire for further details. Fan Performance Two types of fan and performance are available. 2101GP for diaphragm mounting where low pressure and high air volume is required and 2102 for wall mounting or where connection to ductwork is required. Impellers 2101GP: an aluminium clad mild steel propeller blade with high resistance to corrosion and suited to mildly aggressive environments eg. coastal and agricultural. 2102: aerofoil section glass filled polypropylene impeller, suited to the more highly corrosive environments. Motors All motors are totally enclosed with class F insulation with protection to IP55. Single phase fans have overheat protection. These motors are suitable for inverter speed control down to 20% of full speed.
