Description The compact design of the MINItherm fan coil range makes them ideal for ceilings or plant rooms that have limited space. Units incorporate double skin 50mm polyurethane panel construction that complies with the National Construction Code insulation specification J5.2 (all areas except for Alpine areas). The Units are available in Low Profile Horizontal, Plant room Horizontal and Plant room Vertical configurations. Low profile Horizontal HMEL Range Features a low height of only 610mm and is ideal for mounting in ceiling spaces Plant room Horizontal Configuration HMEP Range Features a horizontal configuration and discharge. Suited to floor or ceiling mounting in a plant room. Plant room Vertical Configuration VMEP Range Features a vertical configuration and discharge. Suited to floor mounting in a plant room. It also offers a minimum footprint on the plant room floor.... Features High quality double skin Colorbond 50mm polyurethane panel constructions that complies with National Construction Code insulation specification J5.2. CLIP n LOCK panels are removable allowing easy access for maintenance. CLIP n LOCK casing construction provides superior air tightness. Panel are zero ozone depleting potential ( 0 % O.D.P ) Casing has high resistance to cold tracking and condensation. Modular casing construction achieves TB2 thermal bridging rating as defined in BS EN1886:2007. High efficiency EC plug fans with integral speed control, current overload and motor phase protection, reverse polarity and locked rotor protection and soft starting. EC plug fans can be run independently or integrated into most building management systems. Fans can be controlled by MODBUS or 0-10V signal. EC plug fan motors exceed EU s minimum level of efficiency for electric motors (IE4). Fan motors prewired to a junction box and commissioning speed controller located on the coil pipe side adjacent to the fan discharge, which makes installation easier and quicker. Chilled water cooling coils available with 3, 4, 5, 6 or 8 rows and 315, 394, 433 or 472 fins per metre. Hot water heating coils available with 1 or 2 rows and 315, 394, 433 or 472 fins per metre. Combined maximum of 8 cooling and heating coil rows per unit. Matching filter plenums are available. 1 AirDesign 2016
Office buildings Schools and universities Typical Applications Commercial and industrial applications including; Shopping centres, office buildings, hotels, health facilities, schools and universities.... Construction - CLIP n LOCK Unit casings incorporate CLIP n LOCK removable panels that are sealed air tight by the use of a continuous EPDM closed cell foam underseal and secured using a continuous clip in aluminium locking strip. The aluminium strip is secured using a continuous synthetic cord. The panels are removable without the removal of screws or fasteners allowing access for maintenance. Units incorporate modular thermally broken, aluminium frame construction with double skin, 50mm thick, polyurethane filled panels. Each unit is complete with an access panel on the coil pipe side allowing for the necessary inspection and cleaning. The condensate tray is of a non-ponding design manufactured from grade 304 stainless steel. Fans are high efficiency EC plug type in a single or dual arrangement depending on the model.... Motors EC motors are 3 phase 415V 50-60. Bearings are sealed for life ball type. Integrated EC controller for infinite speed control. Type of protection-ip54... Suggested Specification The Air Handling Units shall be of the MINItherm Series as designed by Air Design and be of the model numbers shown on the schedule drawing. They shall incorporate modular thermally broken, aluminium frame construction with double skin, 50mm thick, polyurethane filled panels achieving TB2 thermal bridging rating as defined in BSEN1886:2007. Panels shall also comply with the National Construction Code insulation specification J5.2 and have zero ozone depleting potential (0 % O.D.P). Unit casings shall incorporate CLIP n LOCK removable panels that are sealed air tight by the use of a continuous EPDM closed cell foam underseal and secured using a continuous clip in aluminium locking strip. The aluminium strip shall be secured using a continuous synthetic cord. The panels shall be removable without the removal of screws or fasteners to allow access for maintenance. Cooling and heating capacities and external static pressures shall be as shown on the schedule. Units shall be complete with filter plenums with filter frames fitted. Filter plenums shall have the same construction as the air handling unit. Fans shall be backward curved centrifugal type driven by EC motors complying with IE4. Fan motors shall be prewired to an external terminal box. AirDesign 2016 2
