WARNING This cab is designed to provide foul weather protection only. It does not provide protection from noise, exhaust fumes, chemicals or injury from collision, or other accidents. 1. Do not operate machine in confined areas without proper ventilation 2. Thoroughly check area of operation before using the machine 3. The cab adds height to the machine. Low tree limbs and other overhead structures that did not interfere with the operation of the machine before, may now be obstacles MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS Periodically check all bolts to see that they are tight. If bolts become loose, failure of cab parts may occur. Door latches and hinges should be lubricated with light machine oil for proper operation. DO NOT CLEAN THE CLEAR PLASTIC WINDOWS WHEN THE PLASTIC IS DRY. THE CLEAR PLASTIC WILL SCRATCH. Avoid contact with plastic windows. Keep plastic windows clean by washing them with clear running water and rubbing with your bare hands, only. The use of a rag, sponge or brush will scratch the plastic. Liquid soap may also be used for window cleaning. During freezing weather, an automotive windshield washer solvent may be used. Use liquid soap and water to clean colored vinyl portions. Scrubbing with a brush or rag is also permitted on the colored vinyl portions TRANSPORTATION Do not transport the cab equipped tractor on an open truck or trailer at highway speeds without first removing the vinyl panels. Failure to do so may result in lost or damaged parts. STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS Prior to storage clean the windows and colored vinyl parts with a mild automotive detergent, rinse with clean water and allow to thoroughly dry, Store cab in a clean dry place out of direct sunlight. Avoid folding plastic windows. READ THIS MANUAL COMPLETELY BEFORE BEGINNING INSTALLATION. The right side of the machine is determined from the operators seated position. The words bolt will refer to a 1/4 x5/8 bolt and nut will refer to a 1/4 locknut. Do not tighten bolts during assembly unless instructed to do so. Park tractor on level ground, lower attachments to ground, remove start key. Cab assembly time is approximately 4 hours. 4
Step 2; See Figure 2: Install right & left Foot (1 & 2) and right & left Foot Pocket Guard (3 & 4). A. If the tractor is equipped with a right step. Remove the bolts at Reference A. Place the right Foot in position. Place a 5/16 flat washer over two 5/16 x 3/4 bolts. Insert the bolts inward and then add 5/16 locknuts. Turn the bolts down but do not tighten at this time. B. Remove the bolt at Reference B if applicable. Place the Foot Pocket Guard in place. If there is a weld nut under the step plate at this location use an M8 x 20mm bolt with 5/16 lock washer. If there is no weld nut use a 5/16 x 3/4 bolt and 5/16 locknut to attach the Guard. A 1 B 3 C. Use a bolt and nut to connect the Foot Pocket Guard to the Foot. Figure 2 D. Repeat the above steps on the left side with the left Foot (uses existing bolts) and left Foot Pocket Guard. Step 3; See Figure 3: Install Front Panel Supports (5), Front Panel Frame (6) and Front Posts (7). 7 A. Remove the hood latch striker bolts. Raise the latch plate and place two 1/4 flat washers under the striker. Replace the bolts and tighten securely. 6 B. Remove the nuts at Reference C on both sides of the tractor. Place a Front Panel Support over the bolts and replace the nuts. Do not tighten at this time. C. Remove the bolts at reference D. Place the welded tabs of the Front Panel Frame over the holes. Insert M6 x 20mm bolts with 1/4 lock washers. Tighten securely. D. Use two bolts and nuts to secure the Front Posts to the ends of the Front Panel Cross Bar. Do not tighten these bolts at this time. 5 C D E. Use two 1/4 x 3/4 bolts and locknuts to attach the bottom ends of the Posts to the Feet and the Front Panel Supports. Do not tighten at this time. Step 4; See Figure 4: Install Rear Curtain Support (10) and right & left Rear Post Bracket (8 & 9). A. Place the right Rear Post Bracket over the hole in the fender. Place the Rear Curtain Support over the bracket. B. Insert a 3/8 x 1 bolt down through the holes. Add a 3/8 locknut and tighten keeping the welded tab parallel with the edge of the fender. 10 C. Repeat the above steps on the left side with the left Rear Post Bracket. 8 Figure 4 Step 5; See Figure 5: Install right and left Rear Post (11 & 12) NOTE: When Rear posts are properly installed, latch plates will be to the front with the notch to the outside of the enclosure. 11 12 A. Insert a bolt outwards through the right Rear Post Bracket and then the Rear Post. Add a nut. Tighten enough to keep the parts upright. B. Repeat step 5A on the left side with left Rear Post. Step 6; See Figure 6: Install ROPS Bracket (14) and ROPS Clamps (13) A. Place Clamps over the top of the ROPS bar. Insert two 1/4 x 4 1/2 bolts to the rear through the tabs welded to the ROPS Bracket, two 1/2 spacers, and then the clamps. B. Center the assembly on the ROPS. Add nuts and thread them down. Do not tighten at this time. 13 14 Figure 6 Step 7; See Figure 7: Install Top Frame (15) 15 A. Place the Top Frame onto the bent ends of the posts and the ROPS Bracket. B. Insert four bolts up through the Posts and add nuts. Do not tighten at this time. Insert two 3/8 x 1 bolts up through the ends of the ROPS Bracket and the slotted tabs on the Top Frame. Add 3/8 flat washers and locknuts. Do not tighten at this time. C. Place a round plastic protector over the bolt heads on the ROPS. (See inset) Figure 7 7
Step 8; See Figure 8: Install the Doors for frame / door alignment. A. Follow the instructions in the Door Hardware Package to install the Door Bottoms and the Door Latches. B. Install, close and latch both Doors. C. Tighten all bolts from previous steps at this time. D. Remove the doors by lifting the door up and out of the bottom hinge then lowering out of the top hinge. E. Place a notched plastic protector over the bent ends of each rear post. Step 9; See Figure 9: Install Rear Curtain (21). Figure 8 A. Close the snap flaps around the top frame at the back and corners. B. Close the snap flaps around the rear posts. 21 Figure 9 8
Non-Loader Instructions If tractor will not be equipped with a loader Step 10; See Figure 10 & 10A: Install Front Panel Vinyl (22) A. Open the flap on the right side of the Front Panel Vinyl and remove the Velcro window. Carefully cut out the material on the inside of the Velcro rectangle to form the window area. Carefully cut the flap off and replace the window. B. Place the Front Panel Vinyl over the dash. Lay the rod sewn into the top of the Front Panel Vinyl over the Front Panel Frame. Close the snap flaps around the Front Posts. Cut Out Inside Velcro C. Fit the vinyl around the Foot Pocket Guards and secure the Velcro tabs together. Loader Instructions If tractor is or will be equipped with a loader Step 10; See Figure 10 & 10B & C: Figure 10A Non-Loader Instructions Install Front Panel Vinyl (22) Warning! Lower bucket to ground to remove pressure before disconnecting hoses. A. Open the flap on the right side of the Front Panel Vinyl and remove the Velcro window. Disconnect the two top loader hoses. B. Insert the loader control through the opening from the outside (front side) inwards. C. Place the Front Panel Vinyl over the dash. Lay the rod sewn into the top of the Front Panel Vinyl over the Front Panel Frame. Close the snap flaps around the Front Posts. Figure 10B Loader Instructions D. Close the flap over the loader control. Reconnect the two top loader hoses through the Velcro slot on the flap. E. Fit the vinyl around the Foot Pocket Guards and secure the Velcro tabs together. 22 Step 11; See Figure11: Install Windshield (23) and Plastic Top (24). A. Place the Plastic Top onto the Top Frame. C. Place the lower edge of the Windshield on top of the Front Panel Vinyl and Front panel Cross Bar trapping the vinyl in place. Figure 10 24 D. Raise the front of the top and push the windshield back against the frame. Lower the top over the top edge of the windshield trapping it in place. 23 E. Insert four bolts with 1/4 flat washers through the Top and the Top Frame tabs. Add locknuts and tighten. F. Install the windshield wiper per the instructions in the package. G. Reinstall the doors.
