99-787 DSH DISSSEMLY HOND R-V 007-009 Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. SEEK/SKIP SN RPT -SEL RDM 5 6 TEGORY DISP -MODE Unclip a/c control. Unplug and remove a/c control. (Figure ) MX / / Unclip and remove panel above a/c vents. (Figure ) LO HI LO HI Unclip the a/c vent panel including the hazard switch. Unplug and remove the panel. (Figure ) 5 Remove () Phillips screws securing the radio. Unplug and remove radio. (Figure D) ontinue to kit assembly. Slide the DIN cage into the Radio Housing and secure by bending the metal locking tabs outward. (Figure ) Slide the aftermarket radio into the DIN cage until it snaps into place. (Figure ) Snap the pocket into the radio housing. (Figure ) ontinue to final assembly.

Mount the ISO rackets to the radio using the screws supplied with the radio. (Figure ) Slide the radio into the Radio Housing until it snaps into place. (Figure ) Snap the Trim Plate onto the front of the Radio Housing. (Figure ) Snap the Pocket into the Radio Housing. (Figure ) ontinue to final assembly.

(Figure ) Snap the Double DIN brackets to the inside edge of the Radio Housing. (Figure ) Slide the Double DIN radio into the DDIN bracket/radio Housing assembly and secure the radio to the assembly using the screws supplied with the radio. (Figure ) Snap the Double DIN trim plate onto the front of the Housing/Radio assembly. (Figure ) ontinue to final assembly.

(Figure ) Snap the Double DIN brackets to the inside edge of the Radio Housing. (Figure ) Slide the stacked ISO mount units into the Double DIN racket/radio Housing assembly and secure the units to the assembly using the screws supplied with the units. (Figure ) Snap the Double DIN trim-plate onto the front of the Housing/Radio assembly. (Figure ) ontinue to final assembly. 5

Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter and making connections as shown. (Isolate and individually tape off the ends of any unused wires to prevent electrical short circuit.) Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the unit for proper operation. Reassemble radio and dash assemblies in reverse order of disassembly. FINL WIRING ONNETIONS Make wiring connections using the EI color code chart shown below and the instructions included with the head unit. Metra recommends making connections as shown below; Strip, Splice, Solder, Tape. Isolate and individually tape off ends of any unused wires to prevent electrical short circuit.
