REMIfrontIII-D Fiat Ducato Peugeot Boxer Citroën Jumper From build year 2006 Driver's cab blind system for Fiat Ducato Important! Read this information carefully first. This system is not suitable for vehicles with airbags in the A pillars or above the doors, or for vehicles with a rain sensor on the rear view mirror! Contents: A. Product information B. Assembly information C. Operating information D. Repair and maintenance A. Product information 1. Manufacturer: REMIS GmbH Mathias-Brüggen-Str. 67-69 50829 Köln 2. Designation and Type: REMIfront III-D Cab blind system, Fiat Ducato 3. Status, Date of manufacture: see sticker 4. Possible uses: Motor caravans based on the FIAT-Ducato as from 2006 and identical build vehicles, (vehicles without airbag in the A-pillar or above doors) 5. Installation: see B. (Assembly information) 6. Function description: see C. (Operating information) 7. Variants: 2-part vertical blind system for front windscreen and vertical blind systems in frames for the side windows. High degree of shade through use of almost completely opaque pleated material. 8. Warning: The blinds may only be closed when the vehicle is stationary and the engine is switched off. Before starting the journey, the system must be completely folded down and locked. Note: the handles can remain hot for long periods if exposed to strong sunlight. The system is not intended for shading the vehicle over long periods (e.g. over the winter). Depending on the temperature, the material may be temporarily more difficult to fold back. As of 45/2006 Subject to modifications Page 1/5

B. Assembly information We recommend that the blind system is installed by a specialist workshop! No liability or warranty is accepted in cases of incorrect assembly or installation. Step 1: (Check scope of delivery) B1 B1: A-pillar cover cladding left/right Guide tube top (1657mm) & bottom (1721mm) Top cover, left& right Driver side Passenger side B2 Accessories B2: 1 tube carrier 4 screws 4,8x38 4 rubber washers 2 screws SK3,0x16 2 screws SK4,2x13 5 rawlplugs 2 foam strips 10 screws 3,5x19 Step 2: (Assemble guide tubes, only for aftermarket version!) B3 B4 B3-B4: If the top and bottom guide tubes are delivered separately, they must be joined with the adhesive supplied with the kit. B5 B5: The adhesive is applied into the guide tube at the end without the thread. Use sufficient to fill the front part of the opening generously. B6 Step 3: (Mount front system) B7 B6: The guide tube with pin is now pushed rapidly into the other tube. Allow the joined tubes to harden for 10-15 minutes! Important: Always link pairs of the same length!! B7: Remove door seal from area of the A-pillar cover. B8 B8: Remove the top cladding, starting from the A pillar. The clip connections separate automatically. Remove the cladding upwards. B9 Loudspeaker mesh B9: pillar cladding: Disconnect the cable connection to the loudspeaker by pulling out the connector. B10 Crosspiece Loudspeaker B10: pillar cladding:: Remove screws marked with arrows and remove crosspiece with loudspeaker. B11 B11: Fig.11 shows the REMIS cladding with loudspeaker mesh. B12 B13 B12+13: Screw the crosspiece with the loudspeaker into the REMIS cladding onto the screw dome (arrows). The connector should point upwards. As of 45/2006 Subject to modifications Page 2/5

B14 B14: Screw the plug side of the top guide tube (short) to the top right of the A pillar cladding with screw SK3.0x16 (do not screw tightly, tube must be capable of rotation). B15 B17 B16 B18 B15+16+17: Push the cover at the top right onto the upper guide tube as shown. and place into the slit of the A pillar cladding. B18: Screw the threaded side of the top guide tube to the left cladding at the top (do not screw tightly). B19 B19: Screw the plug side of the lower guide tube (long tube) to the A pillar cladding, bottom right, with screw SK3,0x16 (do not screw tightly, tube must be capable of rotation). B20 B21 B20: Push the tube carrier as shown to the centre onto the bottom guide tube. B21: Screw the threaded side of the lower guide tube to the left cladding at the bottom (do not tighten). B22 B22 B22: Press the front system onto the A-pillar in the position shown and press on rubber seal again. (Same for driver side). The fixing points are shown with arrows. B23 B23: pillar cladding: Create cable connections to the loudspeakers (see arrow). B24 B24: Make sure that the join to the roof fabric is clean. Then screw the cladding to the A pillar of the vehicle at the intended fixing points (see Fig.22) with selftapping screws 4.8x38 (Torx T25) and rubber washers.. B25 B25: If the gap between the A-pillar cladding and instrument panel is too wide, the foam strip provided can be used. B26 B26: Push the cover into the cladding at the top right and place against the roof lining as shown. Make sure that the transition at the area of overlap is clean. Attempt to close the pleated material. B27 B27: Drill into the roof lining with a 6 mm drill through the holes in the covers.. As of 45/2006 Subject to modifications Page 3/5

B28 B28: Fix the covers to the roof lining with the rawlplugs included. B29 B29: For greater convenience during assembly the mirror can be removed by pushing upwards out of the holder. B30 B30: Close the pleated material to find the position for the bottom tube carrier. Fix the holder in this position using adhesive tape in the middle of the instrument panel. B31 B31: Screw the holder onto the instrument panel using 2 screws SK 4.2x13. Step 4: (Mount side system) B32 4 3 2 B32: Place the side system into the door frames and screw on using 5 self-tapping screws LIK 3.5x19 (Torx T15) in order 1-5. B33 B33: Make sure there is a clean finish to the handle. 5 1 C. Operating information C1 C1: Operate both buttons in the direction of the arrows in order to unlock the front blind.
