Introduction SUPER VENT SINGLE AND TWIN CABINET FANS Rosenberg Gmbh Forward Curved Direct Drive Centrigugal Fans Super Vent Single & Twin Cabinet fans are general purpose ventilation units which have highly versatile applications in modern ventilation systems. These versatile low noise air movers provide reliable economical and effective ventilation. The twin fan assures continuous operation. Each model of this series has two similar capacity fans which enable flexibility of independent continuous or simultaneous operation. ADVANTAGES Compact and space saving design Housings are weather resistant, fabricated from pregalvanized sheet steel. Stainless steel and aluminum casings are available on request. Epoxy or powder coating and acoustical insulation (on inner side of housing) can be provided as optionals. External Rotor motor with built-in thermal overload protection. 100% speed controllable external rotor motor. Extremely low starting current. Casing with double skin upon request. APPLICATION Super vent Single & Twin Cabinet fans are versatile in application. These fans can be used in ventilation, recirculation and air conditioning systems for modern residential, commercial and industrial zones. These fans can be used for inline, roof mounted or ceiling suspended applications. 01
Construction Fan Housing Fans Housing made from heavy duty galvanized steel sheet with G90 coating. (Housing of stainless steel or aluminum can also be provided on request. Additionally optional powder or epoxy coating is available). All cabinets have easy access to fan and motor a removable top cover. Impeller Impeller is forward curved made from galvanized steel directly mounted external rotor motor and dynamically and statically balanced in accordance with DIN / ISO 1940 G2.5 on two levels. Motor The 100% speed controllable external rotor motor satisfies protection class IP 44 according to DIN 40050. Maintenance free ball bearings closed on both sides, sealed for life. Motor winding comply to insulation class F with moisture impregnation and built-in thermal overload protection. Documentation Manufactures declaration and operating instruction are according to machinery directive 89/392/EEC, CE identification in accordance wit hemc-directive 89/336/EEC and low voltage directive 73/23/EEC, are available from m/s Rosenberg on request. Installation Easy installation of cabinets with mounting brackets which are provided along with the cabinets. 02

Accessories Single & Three Phase Direct Drive Super Vent Single & Twin Cabinet Fans. Units are supplied with independent terminal connections to the motor and air-flow switches, facilitating wiring into any approved control system. An electrical isolator ( others) must be provided to enable motors and sensing switches to be isolated from the electrical supply when required for maintenance or any other purpose. Links are factroy fitted as shown on the wiring diagrams to minimize installation costs. These links may be removed as necessary to suit individual installation requirement. Controls (Twin Fans) This control provides manual selection of either fan for duty sharing or test purposes through a selector switch in addition to automatic changeover on fan failure; loss of air flow is detected the selected fan sensing switch (a normally closed switch, open when airflow is correct.) The switch closes to bring into operation the stand fan to maintain full extraction. At the same time a local failure warning lamp lights and remote warning indicator (if installed) is energized, integral fuses protect the control and associated wiring. This control unit provides automatic duty sharing facilities, as well as the automatic change over on fan failure described for the unit. An incorporated timing mechanism brings alternative fans to operation at 12 hourly intervals, ensuring optimum duty sharing and thus maximum bearing life. An overide switch is fitted to allow manual selection test purposes. 13
