Larger diameter tires may require recalibration of the speedometer and/or the anti-lock braking system and will reduce engine RPM throughout the range of the engine.. Backspacing is defined as the measurement from the hub mounting surface to the extreme back edge (toward center of vehicle) of the wheel, not the bead seat.
