NOTE: Use the following torque specifications for all hardware: ½ hardware 73 ft-lbs, 3/8 hardware 42 ft-lbs, 5/8 hardware 177 ft-lbs. Figure 2 1. Prior to cab installation, remove 2-post ROPS guard (keep hardware to be re-used later); upper toolbox crossmember (re-installed later); disconnect rear flashers; and disconnect lower 3-point support (remounted on rear cab bracket). If tractor is equipped with front loader, detach loader to make cab installation easier. 2. Take the left rear cab bracket and position it on the axle of the tractor as shown in Figure 1. Re-use the factory ROPS hardware and loosely bolt onto the axle. Re-install the lower ROPS crossmember with the factory hardware. Re-bolt the fender to the rear bracket as well. DO NOT securely fasten the bracket until the cab has been installed. 3. Repeat for the right side and right bracket. See Figure 2. Loosely fasten the lower ROPS crossmember into place. Figure 3 Figure 1 4. Take the left front cab bracket. If tractor is not equipped with a mid mount mower or loader it will be necessary to use two plate spacers per side for the loader, and use one tube spacer for
mid-mount attachment for the lower, rear bolt hole on the bracket. If tractor has front loader remove the three bolts for the bracket as shown in Figure 3 for the front bracket, and then use new hardware. If tractor has no loader, use the provided M16 x 2.0 x 60MM hex bolts and 5/8 lock washers to fasten front bracket into place. The tube spacer is used for the lower rear bracket if no mid-mower is present. Loosely fasten the bracket. Figure 5 5. Repeat for the right side and right bracket. See Figure 4. Loosely fasten the bracket only at this point. Figure 4 8. Move to the cab. Remove the left door, right escape window, and lower right window before proceeding. Take the cab lift brackets, and attach to the holes in the upper A-C crossmember as shown in Figure 6. Attach a lifting strap or chain to the lift brackets and lift the cab off the shipping pallet (unbolt cab from shipping brackets before lifting). Figure 6 6. Take the toolbox crossmember removed earlier and place in between the two rear cab brackets. Remove the SMV sign and bracket for now. Bolt the crossmember on the OUTSIDE of the rear brackets with the factory hardware. See Figure 5. 7. Remove the three bolts holding the hydraulics control cover and move cover towards centre of tractor (extra room is needed when cab is lowered onto tractor).
Figure 7 9. Use the Figures 7-10 as a guide and install the O-rubber weatherstripping. Figure 10 Figure 8 Figure 9 10. Now you are ready to install the cab. Place one rubber isolator onto each cab bracket mount plate. Lift the cab over the tractor. Slowly lower the cab, keeping the cab roughly centred over the machine. Be careful around the fender handles as it is very tight to the cab frame in that location. Ensure that the isolator fits into the mount plate of the cab, and then use hardware in the order shown in Figure 11 with ½ x 3 hex Figure 11
bolts, ½ lock washers, ½ hex nuts, rubber flat washers and 9/16 x 2 ½ steel flat washers. Now that all the hardware has been started, torque ALL hardware to the specifications provided. Figure 13 11. Re-install the hydraulics control cover with the factory hardware. 12. Take the left front enclosure shield. Install 180 O-rubber on the radiused side as shown in Figure 12. Using ¼ x ½ flange bolts and ¼ flange nuts, bolt the shield into place with the shield sealing up against the tractor bell housing. Figure 12 Figure 14 13. Repeat for the right front enclosure shield. See Figure 13. 14. Take the clutch shield and install 180 O-rubber on the inside edge of the shield as shown in Figure 14. It will be necessary to slide the rear edge of the shield under the tractor heavy-duty floormat. Using ¼ x ½ flange bolts and ¼ flange nuts, bolt the shield into place. 15. Take the brake shield and install 180 O-rubber on the insid eedge of the shield as shown in Figure 15. It will be necessary to slide the rear edge of the shield under the tractor heavy-duty floormat. Using ¼ x ½ flange bolts and ¼ flange nuts, bolt the shield into place. Take the small upper brake shield part and install on the forward edge to seal off the pedal boxing further. 16. Now install the electrical harnesses. Connect the heavy red wire to 12V. Connect the heavy black wire to main
tractor ground. Connect orange wire to a switch source on the tractor. Figure 16 Figure 15 Figure 17 If cab is equipped with the heater option, please proceed with the steps 17-19. 17. Drain anti-freeze from engine before proceeding. Locate thermostat housing and remove plug for pressure fitting (1). Remember to use water sealant around the threads of the fitting. Take the 3/8NPTx3/8 barb 90 fitting and screw into that port (see Figure 16). Locate the plug on the water pump and remove plug for suction fitting (2). Take the 3/8NPTx3/8 barb 180 fitting and screw into that port (see Figure 17). 18. Locate the heater hose that is coming out the bottom of the A-post of the cab and route the hoses into the engine compartment towards the fittings. Cut the hose once you have ensured that there is adequate hose for each fitting. Route the hose labelled pressure to the pressure fitting, ensure that the hose does not interfere with any moving components and tie down if necessary, and install the hose onto the pressure fitting with the HS-6 hose clamp provided. Take the other hose and route to the suction fitting, ensure that the hose does not interfere with any moving components and tie down if necessary, and install the hose onto the fitting with the HS-6 hose clamp provided. 19. Ensure that all connections are tight, then begin re-filling engine anti-freeze. Open the water valve with the rotary switch in the cab headliner.
Start the engine and run at PTO RPM for 5 minutes to buid up engine coolant heat. Check for any leaks and add anti-freeze as required. In order for the heater to perform at maximum efficiency, it is necessary to purge the coolant system of ALL air. TIP: remove the rad cap while the engine is running. Continue running the engine and adding coolant until the heater is producing HOT air. It is necessary to remove all air from the system to produce hot air at the heater, so it is necessary to continue tweaking the system until that occurs. 20. Take cab floormat pieces. Place the left platform extension floormat over the sheetmetal extension at the bottom of the doorway and glue into place. Take the platform floormat and slide around the posi-track pedal if so equipped and glue into place. Take the clutch pedal floormat and position into the boxing with the flap down and glue into place. Use Figure 18 as a guide. Repeat for the right side, use Figure 19 as a guide. Figure 18 Figure 19 22. Take the SMV sign and bracket. Remove the bracket from the SMV mount bracket. Take the provided SMV mounting plate and bolt the mount plate to the bracket with the factory fasteners. Take the mount bracket and bolt to the cab mounting bracket located under the C-C crossmember, in the centre of the member, with the provided 3/8 x ¾ flange bolts. See Figure 22. Place the SMV sign into the mounting bracket. Figure 22 21. To ensure maximum protection against noise and moisture penetration, use a black urethane sealant to fill all holes and openings around installed front enclosure shields and floormat. 23. Take the left fender reinforcement bracket and a 5/16 x 1 button head screw, 5/16 fender washer, and a 5/16 nylon lock nut and go to the inside corner
of the rear steel panel and left side steel panel as shown in Figure 23. Position the bracket as shown, then mark and drill a 3/8 hole through the fender. Bolt bracket on in order to tighten weatherseal to the fender. Repeat for the right fender and use Figure 24 as reference. Figure 23 Figure 24 24. Take the flasher lights removed from the 2-post ROPS and bolt onto the bracket that is on the cab.
