The CROE Bottom Inlet Marine Scr One of the smallest and most efficient scrubbers in the world. Decades of Experience Direct replacement of silencer without bypass. Better sound attenuation than silencers it replaces Bottom Inlet for reduced footprint All Metallic Vessel for longevity and dry run operation. Proprietary high efficiency allmetal internals for increased SO 2 reduction efficiency and smaller scrubber size water retention in tower for reduced weight and better stability

WASHWATER TREATMENT OPTIONS FOR CROE SCRUBBING SYSTEMS

THE CROE WASHWATER TREATMENT OPTIONS CROE offers two different washwater treatment systems. The first is an advanced centrifuge-based washwater treatment systems. This is proposed as a standard part of the CROE Scrubber. CROE also offers as an option a much more advanced membrane filter based system. This is proposed as an option to the base system and is recommended when reduction of sludge volumes is required due to space or disposal cost constraints. The choice between the two systems is made in conjunction with the CROE clients on a case by case basis to take into account all of the client issues and preferences.

THE CENTRIFUGE BASED WASHWATER TREATMENT OPTION After lengthy research and development, GEA-Westfalia now offers an upgraded system consisting of a combination of clarifier, centrifuge and filter. Being in operation in Germany and Denmark it is presently meeting the water discharge requirement established by IMO Being sold by CROE as a standard part of the CROE system

The Centrifuge based system 3 rd stage filtration

THE MEMBRANE FILTER BASED WASHWATER TREATMENT OPTION Combination of water treatment and filtration to provide the cleanest water discharge possible from scrubbers. All installations to date have met IMO water discharge standards. Produces a much lower amount of sludge because it filters the water back and results in a semi-dry sludge cake. This reduces the amount of sludge to dispose and also the associated cost. Due to amount of sludge a separate sludge tank is no longer required and sludge is produced in 55 gallon drums.
