Wanted 2007 Volume 5 Issue 4 Page 15 by Carlton Carl Pate A chance to have your car part of early Ford automobile history. For the past 2 years I have been writing a book about early Ford automobiles (1903 to 1909). Since I am getting to the final stages before editing and publishing the book, there is some more information that I am looking for and you might be able to help. 1. I am looking for a good copy of or the ability to borrow an original period magazine that contains any article that describes one of the new Model Ford cars K, N, R and S (I have articles for models - A, B, T). I want to scan the articles into files for the book Appendix Do you know of or have an article that I need? 2. The 14 th chapter in the book is called STORIES First, Fact and Fate. The chapter is designed to capture the stories of how early Ford cars survived 100 years. If you know the history behind your car and you want it saved Contact me. You can write the story and or I will help. Since I am a believer that pictures are worth a 1000 words, pictures for your car s story are encouraged. 3. The Appendix information is so large that it will be electronic and on a DVD that will be issued with the book. One of the folders in the Appendix will contain pictures of surviving early Ford cars (Models A, B, C, F, K, N, R, S, early T s). If you would like a picture (s) of your early Ford included in the document, send them to me (photo or digital by email) with the information on your car (Must include Year, Model, and Serial # to be listed). Since the picture(s) of your car will be viewed by many make sure you choose a good one (poor quality pictures will not be used). Since the book is due to be published next year, you do not have a lot of time All information and pictures are needed by the end of 2007. The following is my contact information - Carlton Pate (Carl) 285 Forest Lane Glastonbury, CT 06033 860-633-2052 anpcop@aol.com Editors Note: I had a brief look at Carl s Proof It looks very good. If you can help with a story, pictures or information, I m sure you will be pleased with the way he publishes it. 2007 1903-1909 Early Ford Registry Newsletter - Volume 5 Issue 4 Page 15
