Source HH Ferries Group HH Ferries Group Owns the ferry route between Helsingborg and Helsingør and marketed under the trademark Scandlines Helsingborg-Helsingør. Departures every fifteen minutes and a travel time of 20 minutes. Facts from 2015 50.000 departures Öresund s largest Café with 500.000 cups of coffee 7.4 Million passengers 1.4 Million cars 390.000 trucks Slide 4
HH Ferries Group invests SEK 300 million to reduce emissions and improve Öresund environment The ferries M/F Tycho Brahe and M/F Aurora will be converted to battery operation, as part of the company s environmental strategy Before end of 2017 both ferries will be fully battery operated The conversion from the current diesel-operated ferries to battery power will lower total emissions by more than 50%, improving the regional environment. INEA, the EU s executive agency for innovation and network, support the project with approximately SEK 120 million M/F Tycho Brahe Built 1991 Length 111 m Breadth 28 m Draft 5,3 m M/F Aurora Built 1992 Length 111 m Breadth 28 m Draft 5,5 m Cars 238 Passengers 1 100 Lanemeters 539 m Cars 240 Passengers 1 250 Lanemeters 528 m Slide 5

Summary Summary HH ferries is among the first in the world to convert to 100% battery power on such large vessels Following the conversion, the vessels time in port and crossing time will remain unchanged compared to today s service. After the conversion, the ferries will be able to operate in fully battery mode, hybrid mode or with existing diesel driven engines. Tycho Brahe will be finalized during 2 nd quarter and Aurora during 4 th quarter 2017. The conversion will lower total emissions by more than 50%, improving the regional environment.
