COMPOSITE MATERIALS ELET.CA
CORAX Armors Elet.Ca armors are developed to ensure a superior level of ballistic protection and quality, employing typical aerospace industry techniques for the construction of composite materials parts. Armors are manufactured using specific pre-impregnated material, with the resin applied through a fully automated industrial process. This grants to the products an ideal saturation of the resin, thus eliminating porosities and voids between matrix and fibers, and ensuring an optimal bonding within layers. The panels meet the strictest military standards, as far as the environmental (MIL STD 810) and structural requirements are concerned. Armors can be delivered also turnkey, complete with the fixtures for fastening on the vehicle.

CORAX ARMORED DOORS Elet.Ca has developed Corax anti bullet panels for application in armored doors according to the most common UNI EN 1522 homologations: FB2 9 mm parabellum thickness 6 mm weight 6.0 kg/m 2 FB4 44 magnum and 357 magnum thickness 11 mm weight 12 kg/m 2 Thanks to the panels light weight, the substitution of door hinges is not required; inserting the panels into the door structure is also made easier. According to the door specifications, panels can be supplied with slots to accommodate locks, bars and handles. Corax panels can also be employed as the structure for the door itself and can be easily painted. In addition to anti-bullet properties, panels guarantee protection against pointed tools such as pick axes. Superior protection levels (eg. to diamond grinding wheels) can be obtained through panels of different composition and weight.
CORAX PERSONAL PROTECTION HARD PLATES Corax personal protection hard plates by Elet.Ca use resistance compared to boron carbide plates - up to level IV according to NIJ norms - while maintaining lower advanced composite materials and can be employed either as vests or as stand-alone plates in other military weight compared to traditional ceramic panels. or civilian applications. The use of innovative aluminium oxide (Al 2 O 3 ) compounds on the strike face and of different compositions in the backing allow for multi-hit ce levels based on specific technical Elet.ca can develop custom shapes, sizes and resistan- requirements.
