The AnyLAN OptiTip Connector is the key enabler for quick connect of up to 12 fibers at a time. The connector is based on the field proven MTP Connector technology encapsulated in a hardened package suitable for use in any environment. A male (pinned) version and a female (non-pinned) version are easily joined to make a watertight terminal or in-line connection. Factory installation and testing ensures reliable, low optical loss on all fibers. OptiTip Connectors are used to terminate compact, rugged outdoor and indoor-outdoor rated cables to make multi-fiber direct trunk and extender trunk segments. These trunks are completed with a variety of mix and match wall-mount, rack-mount and harness breakouts to standard simplex LC, SC or ST Compatible connectors. (continued)

A multi-point or zone solution can be configured with the addition of Corning Cable Systems Ruggedized Zone Enclosure. This sealed, factory-terminated closure terminates a high-fiber-count cable with OptiTip Connector adapters, to which the above trunk segments can be connected. Plug & Play AnyLAN Systems are easy to design with few parts to specify and order. The components are field repairable with standard industry practices, or spares are easy to inventory for quick change out. AnyLAN Systems are a perfect choice for links where field fiber work is not desirable such as in high-bay areas, dirty, dusty, wet or muddy environments, hazardous areas or limited access areas. AnyLAN Systems are installed and up and running in hours rather than days, with no special tools, equipment or training necessary. The module fits into a wide variety of Corning Cable Systems rack- and wall-mountable housings.
