WARNINGS Improperly setup, operated or maintained equipment may fail causing personal injury. Read and follow the instructions in this manual carefully for proper setup, operation and maintenance of your Aura table. NEVER USE A TABLE THAT IS NOT PROPERLY SETUP OR HAS LOOSE, MISSING, DAMAGED OR IMPROPERLY INSTALLED PARTS. Weight Limit (patient and accessories): 550 lbs The product should be protected from moisture. Please check the padding and the upholstery before assembling. Do not assemble if the upholstery is damaged. Our warranty excludes damage caused by improper set-up, accident, abuse or use for other than intended purpose. Be certain that the table is completely flat prior to discharging an ambulatory patient. The patient may lose their balance and fall. When turning over or moving the table, do not carry the table by the table top. Carry by the wooden frame or legs. Two people are needed to assemble the table. Do not sit on the elevated backrest or leg rest. Do not sit on or place excessive weight on the armrests. Do not use them in assisting the patient on or off the table. Do not put excessive weight or pressure on the face-cradle. Rubbing alcohol will dry out the vinyl and cause it to crack. Prolonged exposure to temperature extremes may cause damage to the vinyl. INSTRUCTIONS FOR ASSEMBLY Step 1: Find a flat floor and place the table top upside down. We recommend using a soft blanket to protect the upholstery and be sure all tools and parts are removed. Step 3: Screw the 1/4 85mm (A) bolt into each of the four legs and tighten. Step 2: Unfold the legs and tighten the legs with supplied black bolt at each corner using the socket head wrench and socket lock wrench. AURA STATIONARY MASSAGE TABLE USER S GUIDE 8

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ASSEMBLY Step 4: Place the shelf into the self slots on the legs and fasten with 1/4 42mm bolt (C) at each corner using the provided socket head wrench. Step 5: Adjust the height by connecting four leg extensions to the main legs at the desired height and hand tighten the locking knobs. AURA STATIONARY MASSAGE TABLE USER S GUIDE 9

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ASSEMBLY Step 6: Installation of hydraulic spring for the Aura Deluxe: Fill the U-end of the spring into notch in the center of the metal beam. Insert the metal bolt into the hole run through the U-end of the spring and the notch. Lock the bolt by metal tach. Adjust the screw cap properly to ensure the hydraulic spring s push button sticks to the Duck-Tongue-Lever tightly and the cable won t fall out. Step 7: Check the assembly and set your table up. Check the previous instructions step by step to ensure each nut, bolt and washer on the table is installed correctly. Tighten each nut and screw again. Caution: When setting up or moving your table, do not carry the table by it s top. Carry using the surrounding wooden frame or legs. AURA STATIONARY MASSAGE TABLE USER S GUIDE 10

DIRECTIONS FOR USE OPERATING THE MANUAL TOP: The Aura Deluxe comes with an adjustable back rest and leg rest. This function is controlled by a hydraulic spring. The switch is riveted at both sides of the table. Caution: DO NOT sit on either the back rest or leg rest cushions. TO RAISE THE BACK REST: Raise the back rest by pulling the switch-lever while lifting the backrest up from the head end of the table to the desired position. Once in the desired position release the switch-lever. Ask your client to lean forward as you lift to make the adjustment easier. AURA STATIONARY MASSAGE TABLE USER S GUIDE 11

DIRECTIONS FOR USE TO LOWER THE BACK REST Support the back rest and weight of your client with one hand. Pull the switch-lever and lower the backrest to the desired position. Once in the desired position release the switch-lever. TO RAISE THE LEG REST Pull the switch-lever and raise the leg rest by pulling up on the lower center of the end cushion. Once in the desired position release the switch-lever. TO LOWER THE LEG REST Pull the switch-lever and lower the leg rest by pressing down on the upper center of the end cushion. Once in the desired position release the switch-lever. AURA STATIONARY MASSAGE TABLE USER S GUIDE 12

ACCESSORIES SIDE ARMRESTS: The side armrests adjust automatically as the position of the back rest is adjusted and are removable to provide easy access for the client to get off and on the table. Caution: Do not sit on or place excessive weight on the armrests. They are not designed to sustain a person s weight when getting on or off the table. ADJUSTING THE ARMREST: It is recommended that the armrests be moved out of the way before having a client mount or dismount the table. The armrests are easy to move and manually adjust. First position the table top with the back rest in the upright position and all other sections flat. Firmly grasp the armrest and raise it up to its highest position and out of the way (see picture below). Once client has mounted or dismounted the table, lower the armrest back to resting position. REMOVING THE ARMREST: The armrest has a notched connection to the interior of the table top which allows it to move automatically with the table top as it changes position. To remove the armrest, grasp the base of the armrest at the metal frame and also on the cushion. Holding securely, rotate the armrest while at the same time pulling slightly away from the table. You will feel the notched connection slide out as you rotate the armrest. When you feel this, you can then slide the entire armrest out of the connection hole. Reattach the armrest by sliding the armrest frame into the hole on the tabletop and rotating it until you feel it slip into place. Push it in securely and allow the armrest to rest in a parallel position. This resets the armrest in the proper position for the automatic adjustment feature. AURA STATIONARY MASSAGE TABLE USER S GUIDE 13

ACCESSORIES LOWERED ARMREST SLING: The lowered armrest sling can be easily added to provide comfortable positioning for the prone client. Place the face cradle tubular arms through the loop on the sling. (fig 1) Attach the end with the Velcro to the top of the face cradle. (fig 2) Place the face cushion on the cradle. (fig 3) (fig 1) (fig 2) (fig 3) ADJUSTABLE FACE CRADLE Place the tubular arms of the face cradle into the outlets at the end of the table. Position the lock lever so it extends out horizontally with the ridges on the top. (fig 4) Adjust the face cradle to desired position and move the lever down to lock in place. (fig 5) (fig 4) (fig 5) REMOVING THE FACE CRADLE: Loosen the cam lock (lever) and pull the face cradle from the outlets. Caution: DO NOT put excessive weight or pressure on the face cradle. AURA STATIONARY MASSAGE TABLE USER S GUIDE 14

ACCESSORIES NAPE BOLSTER: The nape bolster is attached with Velcro and can easily be adjusted for client comfort. Attached the vinyl fabric with Velcro to the top of the face cradle. (fig 6) Place face cushion on the cradle. (fig 7) (fig 7) (fig 7) FOOT EXTENSION: The foot extension will add and additional 6 inches to the length of the table. Place the tubular arms of the foot extension into the outlets at the end of the table AURA STATIONARY MASSAGE TABLE USER S GUIDE 15

CARE AND CLEANING/WARRANTY/CONTACT CARE AND CLEANING: In order to maintain your product s quality and ensure the life of your product, we suggest these preventative steps to protect the upholstery fabric on your table and accessories. Avoid storing your product in extreme cold temperatures. Excessive cold may cause the upholstery to crack. Guard your upholstery fabric against heat. Extreme heat may cause the upholstery to stretch and pucker. Keep away from heaters, electrical appliances, and direct sunlight. Protect your table and accessories from oil and makeup stains with sheets and fleeces. WARRANTY: Eurotech offers a 1 year warranty on parts. This warranty excludes damage caused by improper set-up, accident, abuse, any use other than the intended purpose, neglect, or normal wear and tear. Replacement cushions are available for purchase. If you have questions, call Customer Service at 800-743-7738. CONTACT INFORMATION: Pivotal Health Solutions 1521 9th Ave SE Suite 3 Watertown SD 57201 Toll Free: 800-743-7738 Fax: 605-882-8398 www.eurotechtables.com Clean your upholstery fabric every day. We recommend cleaning your upholstery with a mild detergent to protect against oil stains and dirt which will cause cracking and permanent stains. When used over time, products with a high alcohol content will dry and eventually crack the upholstery. WARNING: Aggressive disinfectants may damage the upholstery. Household products you may use include a 4:1 diluted solution of 409, Fantastik or any non-abrasive cleaner with a non-alcohol content such as Dawn and Ivory dish soap. Use both ends of the table evenly when possible. AURA STATIONARY MASSAGE TABLE USER S GUIDE 16
