Alfa Romeo is not just an automotive factory: its cars are something more than vehicles built in the conventional way. It s a kind of mania,, a zeal for a means of transport. It s a lifestyle, a special way of conceiving a motor vehicle. Something that challenges definition. Its elements are like the irrational traits of human spirit that can t be explained by logic. They are sensations, passion,, all things that have more to do with the heart than with the brain. Orazio Satta Puliga
The colour white enhances the expositive calling of the showroom: strong architectural shapes and simple volumes make it stand out of the urban texture with its attractive rational and bright spaces.
Red, psychedelic and unexpected, is the time-space machine that leaves rationality behind and brings the visitor into the land of emotions; it makes promises and turns on expectations.
Black underlines the underground and introvert setting of the museum and also allows the displayed objects to stand out and become protagonists, to suggest the image of a protected treasure chest that is destined to welcome precious objects.
Welcome to the land of emotions
The red roar of the engine falls on garments and skin. The faraway echo of your white routine fades amidst memories and chromed gleams, on roads we will drive along together

The factory on the edge of the city makes its way through the fog, the horns, the technicolor. The future enhances distances. The dolce vita turns sour, in the smell of oil and tarmac Cars, eras and fascination parade one after the other.

This collaboration started in 1955 and it still continues today, to create a virtuous circle, whose story is symbolically told by our museum. this wouldn t have been possible without the foresight and the constant work of Pietro Cozzi, the founder and the most precious piece of the museum.
