Basic valve IR-100 Yflow Te BERMAD IR-100 Yflow basic model diapragm actuated, ydraulically operated valve is at te leading edge of control valve design. Principle of Operation On-Off Modes 3-ay Control ine pressure applied to te control camber of te valve creates a ydraulic force tat moves te valve to te closed position and provides drip tigt sealing. Discarging pressure from te control camber to te atmospere causes te line pressure under te plug to open te valve. 2-ay Internal Control ine pressure enters te control camber troug te internal restriction. Te closed solenoid causes pressure to accumulate in te control camber, tereby sutting te valve. Opening te Solenoid releases more flow from te control camber tan te restriction can allow in. Tis causes pressure in te control camber to drop, allowing te valve to open. 2-ay Modulating Modes (Pressure Reducing Pilot) 2-ay Internal Control ine pressure enters te control camber troug te internal restriction. Principle of Operation 3-ay Control Modes (Pressure Reducing) Fully Open Position en upstream pressure drops, te pilot blocks te supply pressure port and opens te drain port, venting te control camber to te atmospere. Tis fully opens te valve, minimizing ead loss. Modulating to Close Te pilot switces upon pressure rise, blocking te drain port and opening te supply pressure port. Tis pressurizes te control camber, forcing te valve to modulate closed. ocked Position en sensed pressure is equal to setting, te pilot blocks bot te drain and te supply pressure ports. Tis locks te pressure in te control camber, freezing valve opening in its last position until conditions cange. 3/2-ay Control Modes (Pressure Reducing) Modulating to Open en pressure drops, te pilot restricts te flow pat troug te supply pressure port, and widens te flow pat troug te drain port. Tis releases more flow from te control camber tan can be allowed in, tereby causing te valve to modulate open. Modulating to Close Upon pressure rise, te pilot widens te flow pat troug te supply pressure port, and restricts te flow pat troug te drain port. Tis allows more flow into te control camber tan can be released, tereby pressurizing it and forcing te valve to modulate closed. Stable Conditions As long as flow and pressure conditions are constant, te pilot freezes te control camber inlet and outlet flow ratio. Tis keeps te valve opening rate constant, allowing te valve to react on-line to any anticipated canges in supply and/or demand conditions. 4

Electric Valve, Model 110-2-N Model 110-2-N, is a ydraulically self-operated, diapragm-actuated, solenoidcontrolled valve. Te valve opens fully and closes drip-tigt in response to an electric signal, wic causes te solenoid to open or close te valve s internal ydraulic loop. It operates wit a variety of solenoid voltage ranges: 24VAC, 24VDC or 9VDC, 12VDC-latc. Recommended for all electric On\Off applications, Model 110-2-N is particularly suitable for turf irrigation eads and commercial green ouse irrigation. Te Model 110-2-N also features a manual override. Pressure Reducing Valve, Model 120-bZ Model 120-bZ, is a ydraulically self-operated, diapragm-actuated control valve, wic uses te ydraulic force of te line pressure to reduce iger upstream pressure to lower constant downstream pressure regardless of fluctuating demand or varying upstream pressure. Te pilot continuously senses te downstream valve pressure and controls te valve s opening and closing rate accordingly, by increasing or decreasing te flow from te valve control camber to downstream. Te quick and accurate response of Model 120-bZ prevents line fill-up surges and pressure peaks, wic can be damaging, especially to tin wall irrigation scemes. Te unique Yflow design makes te Model 120-bZ te best and most costeffective solution for agricultural irrigation eads in large and medium scale blocks, were flow is ig and upstream pressure is liable to drop very low. Electric Pressure Reducing Valve, Model 120-55-bZ Model 120-55-bZ, is a ydraulically self-operated, diapragm-actuated control valve wic uses te ydraulic force of te line pressure to reduce iger upstream pressure to lower constant downstream pressure, regardless of fluctuating demand or varying upstream pressure. Te added solenoid enables te opening and sut-off of te valve by an irrigation controller. Pressure reducing performance of te Model 120-55-bZ is similar to tat of te Model 120-bZ, tus providing protection for te irrigation equipment wenever te valve opens and trougout te irrigation cycle.
