Wind Power Stations As the leading provider in this market segment, our strengths are situated at a power range between 500 kw and 3,000 kw, including liquid-cooled generators (induction generators, synchronous generators, variable-speed drives with dual feed induction generators and frequency converters). The most important advantages of our scope of services are flexible customer- and plant-specific design and the quality of our machines. Experience of many years with liquid-cooled machines under extreme conditions (in mining, since 1970) guarantees our customers the support of a partner with the most sophisticated technology and the best service network. Plastics, Tunnels and Mining Our range of products in these areas of competence consists of liquid-cooled three-phase induction motors/low voltage range from 37 kw to 2,500 kw, available with any standard number of poles, construction types and protection up to IP67. Our totally enclosed cooling system has proved itself a thousand times even under the most demanding circumstances and is continually under further development. We offer standard solutions for industry as well as special-purpose design that more than deserves the title designed by the customer. The compact design of our products saves space and weight. They are low in noise and resistant to outside forces. Hence, expensive inlet and outlet air systems are unnecessary. Compressors As a specialist for customer-designed solutions we are able to achieve optimised customer-specific solutions at an extremely competitive price for turbo, spiral lobe-type, piston and rotary-piston compressors. They can be used for induction motors with squirrel-cage rotors or slipring rotors within a voltage range between 380 V and 13.8 kv (20 kv) with up to 25 MW output and all standard cooling types. The extraordinary strength of our products lies in their reliability, efficiency and optimal start-up performance. In addition to their longevity and high availability, our extremely lowmaintenance products offer the customer the benefits of energy-saving operation and easy runup time. Decentralised Power Systems We design synchronous and asynchronous generators for power generation. Our generators are characterised by high efficiency and reliability. Our synchronous generators are used in gas engines as well as gas and steam turbines. Their power range is between 400 kva and 42,5 MVA at a nominal voltage of between 2.3 kv and 13.8 kv (20 kv). We also build low-voltage and high-voltage generators for hydroelectric turbines (ten-pole to twenty-pole, 200 kva 5,000 kva). Motors 9
