Why we call ourselves the most environmentally savvy brewery in Sweden bryggeri We extract the energy from the wasteproduct spent grain in through a unique power plant in Grängesberg We make use of the energy content in our drain water through a bio-reactor We are betting big on using bio-diesel for our client deliveries Sida 10
Transport and distribution Spendrups Bryggeri AB 2017-05-12 Sida 11
Our transport business in brief Fully integrated in Spendrups Bryggeri as of April 1st 2017 Nation-wide distribution in Sweden 17 terminals Around 80 own vehicles (mixed fleet) Co-distribution and Co-transportation High safety requirements due to transportation of alcohol Mixed client base Long-haul freights to and from terminal and major clients Other services: - Just-in-time - Returns of orders and packaging - Tank transports Sida
Our approach to climate savvy distribution Route optimization Higher supplier requirements Maximal filling degree and co-distribution solutions Using Bio diesel Sida 13
Our bio fuel journey We have worked together with Energifabriken since 2009 setting up own tanks to increase availability and secure permits etc. Humble start in 2009 with one small terminal in Jönköping Expansion with more own Bio diesel facilities adjecent to our terminals in Norrköping, Uddevalla, Stockholm and Grängesberg minimising driving distance and time 2016 Client requirement from Apoteket AB on non-fossile distribution 2016 HVO introduction. New tank in Mariestad. HVO in stations in western Sweden 2017 Shifting from RME to HVO in our tanks in Vårby and Grängesberg 2017 Filling up pure HVO in more regular stations and planning expansion to Gävle Spendrups Bryggeri AB 2017-05-12 Sida 14
Why Bio-diesel? And why HVO? Bio-diesel (RME) was in 2009 an available solution that worked with our existing standard fleet and gave us reasonable effect emission-wise Great partnership with an aspirational contractor (Energifabriken) Long term service agreements enabled investments However: RME called for more frequent filter changes and service Restricted use of RME due to a mixed fleet and unclear guarantee terms When RME was heavily taxed in year 2016 we shifted to HVO keeping RME as compliment HVO from 2016 More attractive total cost and worked better for our mixed fleet Had good climate values and was produced from waste and residues that met the Sustainability criteria Spendrups Bryggeri AB 2017-05-12 Sida 15

Considerations refuling for the next mile Increasing client value Client demand for green distribution Tougher Shall/Should requirements in procurement Raising the bar for ourselves Setting ambitious yet reasonable targets Scope 3 perspective Higher demands on sub-contractors External prerequisites - Trust and predictability Costs and taxes Higher predictability and trust in long term cost-levels Unified reporting standards - TTW vs. WTW HVO-guarantees from more vehicle-producers Secured supply Varying views internationally on HVO production System stability Potential diesel-ban in cities Spendrups Bryggeri AB 2017-05-12 Sida 20
