Wharfage - Flinders Island Wharfage charges are payable as specified or by tonne, cubic metre, or kilolitre of cargo, whichever is the greater. All Wharfage cargo is to be declared by manifest by voyage/trip. PILOTAGE A Pilot is required for all vessels exceeding 35 metres in length overall (LOA), unless an Exempt Master is in charge of the vessel. Pilotage charges comprise a fixed charge plus a charge per gross registered tonnage (GRT), covering pilot services and pilot launch. The GRT charge will only apply to vessels greater than 9,999 GRT. Pilotage All Vessels (excluding Cruise Ships) Fixed charge (all vessels) per pilotage 1,785.00 GRT charge (to vessels with GRT greater than 9,999 GRT) per pilotage per GRT 0.112 Inter-berth Transfers Transfer charges apply to all movements of vessels over 35 metres in length within a port area per shift 1,785.00 Pilotage Transfers to Outports In addition to the above, costs associated with supplying pilotage services to Outports will be charged on a cost recovery basis. Pilotage Exemption Certificate and Renewal Charge The charges apply to all Masters that apply and successfully complete the requirements to become an Exempt Master for a particular zone. TONNAGE Vessel Tonnage charges apply to all vessels exceeding 35 metres in length overall (LOA). Charges apply for the first day or part thereof with a reduced charge for each subsequent 24 hour period or part thereof. The vessel Tonnage charge applies to any TasPorts marine precinct and covers those TasPorts responsibilities under Schedule 2 of the Deed of Agreement with MAST and the EPA. These include responsibilities related to Pilotage activities, all Navigation related matters, Emergency Response, Environmental Protection and Port Security issues. TOWAGE Rates of Hire The Hire Rate per tug (calculated as the Base Rate plus the GRT Rate) for handling a vessel within a three nautical mile radius of the relevant Berth for the first two hours in all ports except Hobart which is 2.5 hours and is calculated as follows: Statewide Base Rate: $1,224.00 GRT Rate: $0.41 Maximum Hire Rate (per tug): $11,220.00 Additional Period of Towage: The Hire Rate per tug covers the first two hours (2.5 hours in the Hobart port) from the time for which a tug service was booked and a tug has attended the vessel, after which a charge of 25% of the applicable Hire Rate per tug will be charged per 15 minutes, or part thereof. A Cancellation Fee of $1,020 will be charged when towage is cancelled or deferred within two and a half hours of the time for which a tug service has been ordered for the proposed berthing, departure or shifting of a vessel. Where tugs are ordered with less notice than the minimum notice referred to in the Terms and Conditions, a Late Order Fee of $510 will be charged. Standby and/or Pushing Up Vessel at Berth Where tugs are ordered to stand by to assist a vessel (e.g. pushing up during severe weather), the following charges per tug will apply:- Crew on standby on board the tug at the tug berth 25% of the Hire Rate; Tug in attendance standing by the vessel and then not required 50% of the Port Call Rate; Assisting the vessel 100% of the Hire Rate per tug fo the first two and one half hours after which an hourly charge of 50% of the Hire Rate per tug will be charged. Fuel Surcharge: Coastal Towage Sundry and Special Services A fuel surcharge is charged per tug engaged. This surcharge shall be reviewed monthly and varied accordingly. Charges subject to negotiation. Charges for sundry or special services not otherwise covered above are subject to negotiation. TASPORTS SCHEDULE OF PORTS CHARGES EFFECTIVE 1 JULY 2016 8

CRUISE VESSELS The following pricing will apply for cruise vessels calling at Ports and Outports around Tasmania. Pilotage Pilotage All ports (including outports Port Arthur, Coles Bay, Wineglass Bay) Fixed charge cruise vessels > 11,000 GRT per pilotage 1,785.00 Fixed charge cruise vessels < 11,000 GRT per pilotage 1,500 GRT charge (to vessels with GRT greater than 11,000 GRT) per pilotage per GRT 0.12 Cap for pilotage for cruise vessels total charge per visit 9,180.00 Pilotage Transfers to Outports In addition to the above, costs associated with supplying pilotage services to Outports will be charged on a cost recovery basis Cancellation Charge A cancellation charge applies when a vessel movement is cancelled within two hours of the time for which a Pilot has been ordered 440.00 Tonnage Vessel Tonnage charges apply to all vessels exceeding 35 metres in length overall (LOA). EXPEDITION CRUISE VESSELS (< 11,000 GRT) The following charges have been introduced for expedition cruise vessels calling at Tasmania. A number of ports and outports are available for expedition cruise vessels, these include Hobart, Burnie, Devonport, Inspection Head, Bell Bay, Stanley, King Island and Flinders Island. Security Security charges may apply depending on the specific vessel requirements and the application of Maritime Security Zones. Security requirements apply to all cruise vessels with minimum manning requirements applying depending on the nature of the vessel cargo. Transit only Security requirements will apply in line with Tasports Security Plan and charged in accordance with the Security section of Tasports Schedule of Port Charges. Turnaround (Hobart only) If Hobart is being used as a turnaround port (only) security charges are reduced to zero. If passenger and luggage screening is required, this will be charged as per the Schedule of Charges. Wharfage Reduced to Zero for the re-supply of expedition cruise vessels. Equipment, gangway and services Portable Resources Hire: Reduced to zero for the hire of a gangway or portable shelter. Transportation of screening or portable equipment A charge may apply for the transportation of equipment to ports and outports where equipment is not currently available.
