The operator is available for ormal operating pressures up to 0 bar or the Xtreme maximum operating pressure of 6 bar and wide band voltage tolerances required for mobile applications. orrosion Resistant esign The pilot valve body is manufactured in thermoplastic 6 material and the core tube brass / stainless steel. The plunger / core is made from stainless steel and the valve seats from. Solenoid ilot xhaust These operators all exhaust out of the top of the core tube which is tapped 5. The standard solenoid nut fitted to the core tube is a diffuser nut which allows the exhaust to escape to atmosphere. This nut also minimizes ingress of dirt into the valve through this port. The alternative plastic knurled nut can be specified (refer to part number system) if the exhaust air needs captured and piped away using the 5 tapped port. obile pplications Viking Xtreme valves are tested to +5g shock and vibration. Solenoid operated valves are designed to operate with wide voltage tolerance bands within the ambient temperature ranges stated in the technical section. oils oils are wound with enameled copper wire, having a temperature index of 800 with class insulation (550) and are encapsulated in Thermoplastic resin. When fitted with suitable connector and correct gasket, they give protection to I65. anual Override Options The pilot operators can be supplied with locking or nonlocking manual override. The standard manual override is the monostable (spring return) extended brass override. lternatively the bistable (locking) override can be specified as an alternative for the ormal duty 0 bar option. Unless otherwise agreed, Seller shall have the right to alter, discard or otherwise dispose of any special tooling or other property in its sole discretion at any time. 8. uyer s roperty: ny designs, tools, patterns, materials, drawings, confidential information or equipment furnished by uyer, or any other items which become uyer s property, may be considered obsolete and may be destroyed by Seller after two () consecutive years have elapsed without uyer placing an order for the items which are manufactured using such property. Seller shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to such property while it is in Seller s possession or control. 9. Taxes: Unless otherwise indicated on the face hereof, all prices and charges are exclusive of excise, sales, use, property, occupational or like taxes which may be imposed by any taxing authority upon the manufacture, sale or delivery of the items sold hereunder. If any such taxes must be paid by Seller or if Seller is liable for the collection of such tax, the amount thereof shall be in addition to the amounts for the items sold. uyer agrees to pay all such taxes or to reimburse Seller therefore upon receipt of its invoice. Seller will defend at its expense and will pay the cost of any settlement or damages awarded in an action brought against uyer based on an allegation that an item sold pursuant to this contract infringes the Intellectual roperty Rights of a third party. Seller s obligation to defend and indemnify uyer is contingent on uyer notifying Seller within ten (0) days after uyer becomes aware of such allegations of infringement, and Seller having sole control over the defense of any allegations or actions including all negotiations for settlement or compromise. If an item sold hereunder is subject to a claim that it infringes the Intellectual roperty Rights of a third party, Seller may, at its sole expense and option, procure for uyer the right to continue using said item, replace or modify said item so as to make it noninfringing, or offer to accept return of said item and return the purchase price less a reasonable allowance for depreciation. otwithstanding the foregoing, Seller shall have no liability for claims of infringement based on information provided by uyer, or directed to items delivered hereunder for which the designs are specified in whole or part by uyer, or infringements resulting from the modification, combination or use in a system of any item sold hereunder.
