tech TOL Designs Story by Jason R. Hoard Photos by Jesse B. Nelson Hopefully, you have been following our customization of this 2009 Electra Glide. We started with a Misfit Slip Fit neck rake kit, Glenndyne G5 front wheel and a Fat Katz Laredo front fender. Next up was a complete back end from TOL Designs that included stretched bags and side covers and a tail-dragging rear fender. The bike looks great, but something is missing. To get that truly custom look we needed a stretched gas tank. There are two ways to get the stretched look from the tank to match the stretched lines we are creating: a steel stretched tank or a stretched tank overlay. We went with a TOL Designs stretched tank overlay and matching stretched dash. By installing the TOL Designs tank overlay and stretched dash, we have now tied the project together and the Electra Glide is looking like a custom Bagger. TOL The 2009 Electra Glide needs the TOL Designs tank overlay and dash before we send it to paint. 1 2 Remove the seat.
