If your client has difficulty getting in or out of the bath then a Bath Lift from Dolphin could be the answer. The bath lift is easily installed with four suction pads that cling to the bottom of the bath tub and is light weight and easy to manage. On descending into the bath they automatically recline, giving the user the luxury, of being able to lay down in the bath. A simple press of a button will then return the user to the top of the bath. A swivel and slide option is available to assist getting in and out of the bath. Other accessories include headrests, harnesses, pommels, gel filled covermats and a Junior version specially designed for use by children. If a bath lift is not suitable then we are able to provide alternative solutions such as a wall, floor or ceiling mounted hoisting system. Wheelchair Lifts Wheelchair users and people with restricted mobility can benefit greatly from having a home lift installed. Domestic Wheelchair Lifts can be installed in any downstairs room where the lift can travel vertically through an aperture in the ceiling to the room above. When the lift is not in use it can be parked at either level leaving maximum living space available. The integral fire seal is effective when the lift is parked at the upper floor. A seated version is available and we can also supply a side hung unit if required. Platform sizes range from 590 x 790 to 790 x 1200. Step Lifts Step Lifts have been developed as a relatively low cost option to give wheelchair users easy access where difficulties exist due to a change in level or the presence of steps. Models are available to rise directly over one or two steps or to be installed alongside steps. The lifts are compact whilst offering a large platform area and shallow ramp for easier access and can be installed either internally or externally.
