Versions, details The MBV series ball valve is Neles Controls' latest addition to our product offering. In MBV we combine over years of experience in both metal seated and soft seated ball valve manufacturing. MBV is designed to meet a wide range of international and national valve standards and it also fulfills various requirements set by the end-users. The special shaft/ball joint enables MBV to be used in the most demanding high cycling applications and also assures tight shut-off even with the lowest pressure differentials. N E L E S C O N T R O L S ACTUATOR SELECTION MBV-valve can be equipped with the following Neles Controls actuator types: B1C/B1J Pneumatic double acting or spring return actuator. Actuators available for size range 2"-8" B1C/B1J actuators have an ISO 5211 mounting face. M Gear operator for valve sizes 2"-8". LR Hand lever for valve sizes 2"-4". When selecting other than Neles Controls actuators please contact your local Neles Controls representative. For the correct actuator selection you need to know the following process data: - valve size and seat type - supply pressure for the actuator - maximum operating differential pressure over the valve in closed position Actuators are selected from the tables the following way - left hand column shows the valve size - on the top line the possible actuator alternatives are shown - the instrument air supply pressure is in the left column Note! there are four possibilities; 3, 4, 5 and 6 bar / 45, 6, 5 and 9 psi in double-acting actuators.
