General information 4 5 КИМ receives coands from a controller, controls electric motor, performs functions of a starter, provides feedback on actuator and valve state. Functions Automatic control or manual opening and closing of shutoff and control valves with precise stopping in any set position. Control of actuator and valve state. Electric motor automatic shutdown: at reaching a set position of valve, at exceeding of an output shaft set value in any position, at electric motor overheating, at detection of actuator malfunction. Indication of actuator state (position, ) on a display. Indication of state of limit and switches, backup battery, main power source, MALFUNCTION signal. Connection via RS-485 with a ПБР-3ИМ-БД (for actuators equipped with БД, БСПЦ s (option С). Block from occasional repeated start of motor at valve breakaway. Valve breakaway from limit position with maximum. Software setup of actuator including adjustment of shutdown within the range from to 100% of maximum with deviation within ±10 % of maximum shutdown. Indication of current position and, settings, error codes. Actuators equipped with КИМ allow the following methods of valves control: LOCAL on site using buttons; REMOTE upon coands from a high level device using: via digital RS-485 (Profibus DP, Modbus RTU) interface allowing digital channel backing up; discrete control signals (OPEN, CLOSE, STOP); analog signal POSITION SETTING (Positioner); FAILURE signal (ESD). Major features Actuator and valve adjustment can be carried out without enclosure opening using buttons while parameters are indicated on a display. Adjustment can be carried out while main power source is on, so as while it is off using a manual drive and a backup battery. Adjustment settings would be saved to nonvolatile memory. Diagnostics of digital, КИМ, backup battery state, detection of motor overheating, indication of malfunction using discrete signals from switches and LED indicators. Switches can be prograed to indicate malfunctions with and without motor control blocking. Simultaneous triggering of limit switches shows malfunction with blocking, triggering of travel switches shows malfunction without blocking.
